Worked fine (knock wood), no leaks and everything fit my decades-old toilet. I saw one person complain that a problem with the float valve caused a leak and damage; this kit does not include the float valve, so I do not know what that person was talking about. Another person complained about there only being two bolts; yes, that is how many you need. The entire process took me 1.5 hours, including cleaning and having to remove the old, corroded parts. One place in the instructions did not make sense, as it seemed to indicate putting a nut on over a bolt before that bolt goes through a hole. The diagram was more clear. They should also mention that the tank will be wobbly sitting on the gasket to the bowl portion before the nuts to either side get their final crankdown. Sure hope that it lasts, but I am purchasing one for an idential toilet.

Easy to install and works as expected

This repair kit comes with everything you will need to replace the flush valve in your toilet tank. After reading some of the reviews I saw that I may need to cut about an inch or so off the top of the tube for it being a bit too tall once the tank lid is put back on, and this turned out to be the case, so I used a fine-toothed little band saw and took about twenty or so seconds to cut it down a bit. The kit comes with everything you see in the photos, plus all of the tank hardware. I reused the original bolts and nuts already on mine, as well as the flush valve lock ring, so I even had some pieces left over- just in case. Great price, good instructions, this is the best repair kit to purchase if you’re needing to replace your flush valve. Zero leaks, built with sturdy, heavy duty plastic, good, sound rubber gaskets, fits perfectly. Original design, consider it an OE replacement. Buy it! This was an unsolicited and honest review.

Replaced flush and fill valves along with gasket, washers and hardware connecting tank to bowl in the four toilets in a 15 year old home. Installation was easy, instructions were very clear. Nice to have adjustments for flapper, tank fill level and bowl fill level. No leaks, everything is adjusted and working very well. The only issue I had was having to take 2 inches off the top of the overflow pipe on the flush valve to get it down to the right height for the relatively small 1.6 gpf tank on the toilets.
