EVEN DEFECTIVE TV RETURNS ARE AT BUYER'S COST w/ RESTOCKING FEE!!!
The "1 Star" is for the quality of the Vizio D24-D1 TV but I would give the seller "0 stars" if I could for blatant omission of their horrendous return policy. I received this TV late on March 2, 2017 and set it up the following day. The picture was muted, colors were diffused and it is of very poor quality overall. I have two other Visio TVs and both have much better pictures and have lasted several years. After making every display adjustment possible - and then resetting it to factory defaults and starting again, the colors are poor and the display is very dull looking. So, on March 4, I initiated a return and sent the seller - MEGARETAILSTORE - an email asking what my return costs would be as there was nothing indicated. Today, 3/6/2017, three and a half days after receiving the product, the following email was received:"You are responsible for return shipping and we recommend using a carrier service that provides tracking to confirm delivery. Once the item is received, we will initiate a refund of the item price -15% restocking fee. Open items may be subject to a 50% restocking fee if they do not have original packaging."I have all the original packaging but this return will cost me significant shipping fees PLUS $25 to $82 restocking fees (and I'm at their mercy as to what they consider returning it correctly). This is outrageous when the product shipped to me is defective. I am sure the TV I received is not the same that others received as both Amazon and internet independent reviews, state that overall this is a good product with a great picture. I am expected to pay a minimum of $50 (up to $100) to return a $164.01 product that does not work. How does this get resolved in a way that is reasonable for everyone? I have no clue and likely I will be stuck with a TV that is not usable.

Fine until the warranty ends, then turns into junk.
Seemed like a good purchase in the first year. THEN began to turn off for no reason, and occasionally turn ON when I was asleep or away on vacation! Finally at 17 months old it suddenly won't turn stay on when turned on. What a POS. Shouldn't a TV last more that a year? One user, no abuse, quiet rural location. Disappointed, VIZIO!

Some good and some bad points but still a good buy for the price.
I bought this TV for the easy Netflix access and because we wanted a second TV so the hubby could play his games on one and the kids could still watch Netflix. The package arrived much earlier then expected which was a plus. Just an FYI - It arrived in the original box with nothing to conceal it. We set this one up in the main room because its a little bigger then the older one we have. This is not a bad TV. It is a nice TV. However, I notice a difference in this one compared to our other TV that is a plasma. The other TV we have is nearly identical in features except that it is plasma screen and this new one is an LED. I notice that the picture is a bit grainy. It's not terrible. It's just notable compared to my plasma screen. Sound quality isn't bad but not terrific either. All and all I fee like it was a good buy for the price. It is very handy to have the built in apps on it. It seems easy enough to maneuver around on it. But if you are looking for great picture and great sound I would keep shopping.

Stay AWAY from this brand! Only good for a year!
Had this TV a little over a year and it started shutting off on it's own. After a few weeks of that, it shut off and won't turn back on with remote or power button. I returned to the Amazon site to find that others had posted the same problem and VIZIO had responded with an option to call them. So I called and the rep said that it was a power issue but since it was past the 1 year warranty, that the repair would be on me. It's mounted to the wall so once it comes down, then I would just replace it with another TV.If it's a known problem with their product, I'm not sure why they wouldn't back it up. This was my first VIZIO. I have 9 TVs, some major brand names and some not that I've had for 10+ years. Never had any problems out of any of them. This is my first VIZIO and in 18 months, it's dead. Never again! Stay away from this brand!!!!

Worst TV purchase ever, and this is my 3rd vizio
Too late for most people now but I purchased this model based on my previous solid experiences with Vizio brand TV's.In slightly less than 1 yr (only about 2 weeks inside the warranty period) the display just stopped working, totally blank with no backlight or other indication that the tv was on. All the usual methods of resetting it didn't help and I found my receipt and thankfully found out it was within the manufacturers 12 month warranty period (just barely!).After trying to arrange service with the outsourced service provider that Vizio uses, it took about 4 different calls repeating the problems, details, etc and about one month of time elapsed but finally the guy came out. This was high mounted on the wall but whatever that's my choice and I had already taken it down so he could service it. He goes through the same troubleshooting that I had done, gets no display and then just says "yeah this isn't repairable in the field, they'll have to replace it". So...okay, good outcome but now we wait some more.Another month goes by and finally the new refurbished TV (a different s/n unit but same model) shows up and we're to pack the old one in the box and call for pickup which we do.I mount the new one to the wall and all is well........for about 9 months. Then the sound starts giving a horrible static-like crackling that completely drowns out anything else. This isn't me being nitpicky, it sounds like the volume is turned all the way up and static pops (even when the sound is totally down to zero). I thought this might be worked around by using a soundbar so I hooked this up to try it......NOPE.Super disappointed with Vizio on this one and definitely feel like I got screwed. This TV lasted less than a year and the replacement vizio lasted less than 10 months.Definitely something wrong with this model in a bad way.I replaced it with a TCL and am happy so far but a very bad purchasing decision I made with the Vizio D50-D1.

Great TV & Overall... Speakers not so much
Great 43' TV Overall, the controls are super, the picture quality is superb and I have not noticed any lag. While it won't play all my files via USB, no TV regardless of price seems to be able to. I've plugged in an android box and that's taken care of the problem effectively.I dropped a star only because the speakers could be better. I know this is a common problem with all modern TV's. I plugged in a nice set of computer speakers with a large sub using a Y cable and the two white/yellow audio ports and it is an awesome set up now, well worth the price. I had heard the TV speakers drop out a few times and I am very grateful to already have peripheral speakers available. I turned off the TV speakers and I'm good now. I guess VIZIO expects you to do this when one buys a 43' TV, and doesn't spend a lot of resources on the internal speakers, but still... NOT COOL - YOU LOSE ONE STAR!

Smart Tv Nivel Basico

I am really disappointed in the Smart TV aspect
"Smart" part of the TV barely ever works. It either just simply doesn't work and you can't use Netflix or the other apps OR Netflix will be working then constantly cutting out, over and over again. It is not something wrong with the internet, our other (non Smart) TV has a Roku and works perfectly. I am really disappointed in the Smart TV aspect.I just had to go out and buy a Roku today. That sucked, since I specifically bought this TV for its Smart TV functionality. The colour is good and size is good and shipping was fast. But it is not a Smart TV if the thing stopped working within a couple weeks of purchase.

Best price to quality ratio
I am impressed by this TV, it is good looking (picture and aesthetics). I think this is the best TV you can buy for the price to quality ratio. The television is thin and light. The picture is clear and bright. The refresh rate is decent. The sound is good enough to use it as a "stereo". The remote is responsive. It has all the inputs you will need: Cable, HDMI, USB, Wireless. The wireless reception is fantastic. It has USB keyboard support. The selection of apps is decent. They don't have Crunchyroll in US mode.

Funciona perfecto
