No, it does not contain jackalope.

Q: What cut of beef do you use to make the slab?

We use various cuts of rounds, like top, eye and bottom.

Q: Why do the instructions say to store in a paper bag after opening? That just dries it out and makes it tough! Tasted great on day 1, but not now.

You can also store in a zip lock bag. Biltong is air-dried and will continue to dry after opening. We recommend eating within 3 days for optimal taste and freshness.

Q: Can this be fried like bacon? for bacon, eggs, and home fries?

You can crisp them up in a pan if you want, but you do not need to in order to eat them. This will likely just make the beef a bit crispier and less tender.
