The clock makes no ticking sound and keeps very good time. It has picked up a couple of minutes in the six months since I hung it. It is still beautiful regardless.

Q: Are the arms that the balls attach to gold or brass in color?

They're actually silver, but when hanging on the wall, they seem to reflect off the balls, giving a gold hue to some. it's subtle, and to verify they're actually not a color, I had to take it off the wall and lie the clock flat against the source of light. Makes the tone of what you see kind of hard to describe.

Q: what is the width of the clockface itself?

The entire click is actually “the click face. In other words, the balls are the numbers and the hands sweep the balls. 13”. The solid centerpiece which only serves to anchor the hands is 4”.
