Roman Gladiator Legion Helmet Bronze

My little spartan wore this for Greek day at school. he was too big for the kids sizes. We did have to order a standard adult which was too big, but we knew that, and it cinched up and worked. we loved it (the shield in the hat were separate.). We reinforce the Velcro with a safety pin, because Velcro can come undone.

Looks as expected. Arrived quickly. Needed for kid’s school project.

The visor does NOT go down. It barely stays on my 8 year olds head. His head isn’t too big or too small for it, it’s and odd shape. The helmet, not his head. The thing that holds the feathers (I can’t think of the word right now) comes off sooooo easy. It will come off when he walking. I’m going to have to glue it down so when he goes trick or treating it will stay on during the night. I’m also going to have to make my own strap to make sure the actual helmet stays on his head. The feathers came bent and the foam they are glued in is pulled up, so I’ll have to glue that as well. Overall, extremely disappointing product.

My son needed to dress like a Roman solider and most costumes we found didn’t have a good helmet. We ordered this separately and it made the costume complete! Looks great and a good value for the money.
