It took me forever to find the right product. I struggled to find a high-quality, re-chargeable diffuser that was attractive. This piece is awfully expensive, but I love it. It's quiet, it's effective, it's beautiful, and it's CORDLESS! I can diffuse my favorite essential oil for 8 hours on a single charge. I totally love it and highly recommend it. Totally worth the investment. I hope it lasts forever.

UPDATE*** I ordered a second one to see if it was just a fluke, but unfortunately it also presents similar issues including a new one: it stops working after 10-15min of either timer unless I reset it. this product clearly presents a severe and unreliable design/functionality that is again, hazardous and not worth its value whatsoever. beyond disappointed and frustrated to go through this process. 2 diffusers all with problems._________________________REVIEW OF FIRST DIFFUSER:I was reading a variety of reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Sure, the design is pretty to look at, but while using the product, it's charging station scared me as it makes a very high pitch sound; like the motion of electricity trying to connect and stabilize. It's continuous and quite scary if left unintended; I would never trust it. Esp after other reviewers have mentioned and posted images of the station melted. The buttons have faulty paint coloring and the battery life does not last 4hrs on a full charge, let alone 8hrs. Absolutely NO WAY is this worth $200. I would expect –maybe, $50 at MOST. And it's clear there is more work to be done to this product/design to match this ridiculous price point.

It’s so cute, really puts off scent throughout my apartment. The light is so cute on it. Love that you can move it around your home without it being attached to the cord.It does sometimes spill when you take the lid off no matter how careful you are, I think it’s the suction of the lid. Otherwise it is absolutely perfect. Great diffuser.

This is a great product! I love the Vitruvi - it has such an easy to use system where you can add more scent as needed and it produces an even distribution of smell and mist. There is a 4 hour setting and an 8 hour setting, plus options to turn the light on or off as desired. The mist it produces is so light that it does not produce condensation on any surface while adding the desired smell to the room. It typically will last about 8 hours on the battery and can easily be moved room-to-room, but it also works really well while charging on the base. Would definitely recommend this product!

I bought both this diffuser and another similar device (aka portable) that cost literally one-third the price. Neither of them work GREAT frankly; but this much more expensive one is no better than the cheap one.It's also clear that somebody went to great lengths to design this product; but their result is a frustrating set of failures.• the packaging was a disaster. I literally couldn't get it off. I had to rip it apart like a 7 year old boy opening a box of breakfast cereal.• the box that the thing came in, with the hinged lid, wouldn't shut again. Extra maddening because it's quite evident that some designer somewhere is feeling really proud of themselves for how "cool" this box that they came up with is. {eye roll}• it's really super hard to open the lid of the device and then to get it to shut properly again. I spill the water inside of it at least half the time.• the charging station is FAR from intuitive. I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how the prongs on the device fit with the charging pad on the base; only to finally figure out that it doesn't matter. You just plop the thing down any old place and it works. UGH!! Again - some designer is soooooo proud of themselves; but the result is a thing that utterly lacks function in practice.• the "fill line" is impossible to read. Why would you put it on the outside of the water tank?? Again, these designers - too cute by half.And then the biggee - I can hardly smell anything out of it when I finally do get it to turn on. I have 2 plug-in diffusers (from another company) that work much better; so I know how this type of device SHOULD work.Fuggettaboutit. Return.

Since I own this product myself, I decided to order this diffuser as a gift.Unfortunately, the vendor sent me a USED product that arrived without the cord that plugs into the wall. There was also residue of an essential oil left in the reservoir.The diffuser's box, that is normally sturdy and can even serve as storage box if necessary, was broken and torn. It took some effort to ruin that box. However, the outside container that my package was shipped in arrived without a scratch. So, the vendor cannot claim that shipping damaged anything. I love the Vitruvi company but will never order anything from them again on Amazon. The mobile diffuser that I own is a beautiful product but this rendition was shameful. But, it works and there was no time to send it back in time for the birthday celebration. So, they pawned it off on me.

The reservoir size is perfect for me since I only use it to diffuse essentials for short durations. I love how it looks and how easy it is to clean and for me to take it from the dining table to the bathroom and then to the bedroom. I have not had any problems with this diffuser.

Do not buy!This was a Christmas gift. It worked for approximately 40 days... could not return it. Sent 2 emails to the company and no response! For $140.00 They could have at least answered my email. Does not deserve a one star rating.
