It is wonderful, powerful for a portable battery operated unit
It is wonderful, powerful for a portable battery operated unit, the adjustable angles make it so versatile. Also variable fan speed. I use it mostly as a stand fan pointed at my face, as that is a great way to keep me cool thru this hot summer. On the upper arm, it does feel a little bulky. Comes with an 18 inch velcro strap. Make sure your sleeve is loose enough to fit the fan under. You get cool air on one side, and if you use 4 batteries, you really feel the weight on that one arm. So if you use it this way, the cord is definitely better with a battery bank. Maybe they will come up with a built-in lightweight rechargeable battery that lasts at least 4 or 6 hours so you don't have to deal with a cord while swinging your arms, like when jogging. When blowing up the shirt from the waist, you don't feel the extra weight like when used on one arm. This is my second favorite way to use it. Works well at work, where I do a lot of walking. Allows up to maybe a 1.4 inch belt, not too thick, or you can flip the stand out and use that to pinch over your waistband, it has some textured plastic parts to grip on your jeans. However, if you have like nice shorts with no belt, made of mesh or delicate material, it might snag it. Put a piece of material in the clip to keep the textured part away from you shorts, and find something to use via the belt method. It doesn't come with a large velcro strap for your waist, but you could find a reasonable alternative in your belt collection or maybe the craft store, or even use the approx 34 inch adjustable neck strap if you are not too large around the middle.Which brings me to the around the neck method. I am pretty active, so I don't use this method much. You just slip the neck strap in the belt loops. It moves too much when jogging, hits you on the chest. Might be okay for a slow, casual walk. This way is best used for say sitting at a sporting event, at the park, or maybe at your desk.Sorry so long, but that says a lot for a versatile item. The only other thing I wish was different is if the larger part of the clip was solid, not like an arch, so it would keep the textured part away from delicate material when using the belt method. Yeah, you could flip the clip down, but you'll have problems when sitting down, unless you have it on your side. I prefer to use it in front, where the cooling in more centralized. Most pants have belt loops, which prevent moving it to the side easily without unbuckling your belt. Thanks for reading my review.

Don't waste your money
This little fan worked great, for about 90 minutes. Then it died, very quietly and peacefully. What a piece of junk. Back it goes. I just bought a USB powered plain desktop fan as a replacement that will do the same thing this does, for about a third of the price of this thing. Maybe I got a lemon, but I won't try it again. All it does is move the air - which a regular fan will do, much cheaper. If you're just looking for something that gives you a cool breeze, just buy a regular desktop fan. It will do the same thing this does. By the way, it was almost impossible to get the batteries into the battery compartment. It's too small to really place them properly, which is why I was running it off the USB cord. Like I said, what a piece of junk.

Awesome little fan! Highly recommended!
I bought two of these fans and was a bit worried because of the negative reviews. I am so glad I did take a chance and purchased these. I bought them to use on my children's stroller when we go out or go to Disney. Living here in Florida can get very hot so I wanted something that would keep my little ones comfortable. I had bought two kid fans before and my children easily broke off the blades since they were made of foam. Cool on the Go fans have resolved this problem since there are no blades they can break (fan is enclosed in the unit.....safe for little fingers). Not only that, the air it blows is so much better that those other children's fans. Cool on the Go uses 4 AA batteries. I use 2000mah rechargeable batteries and they last about 2 1/2-3 hours. The fan also comes with a USB cord which you can plug into your computer or even a battery pack. I sometimes plug it to a 5000 mah battery pack and it lasts about 6 1/2 hours! You can also plug it to the wall. Sometimes I even use it for myself when I am working on my computer. I will probably end up buying one more for myself so I do not have to steal it from my children. :-)Please keep in mind that these are cooling fan and not air conditioners so don't expect that the air coming out is going to be very cold. In comparison to other portable battery operated fans that are on the market Cool on the Go is way better and will blow more air.

Worth the money
This fan was fantastic. Looking at multiple reviews and top 10 portable fans I can see why this was listed in the top 3. It was definitely worth paying a little extra. It kept my little one cool for our week at the beach and had no exposed fan blade that she could touch. The ability to change the setting more than just High to Low was great. The air flow set at the highest level was impressive for a battery powered fan. The biggest draw back was how heavy it was but that was move for needing to prop it up in different ways because it didn't always stay to where you adjusted it and you have to make sure the sun shade is secure on the stroller otherwise it may fall.I also used the fan and was comfortable on 90+ days. The battery life was ok for it being on about 6hrs a day but that would be a review for Duracell.Pro: portability, ease of use, o exposed fan blade. adjustable setting for air circulation, unit is adjustable, glow Light.Con: It was heavy, battery life was ok, the clip to secure it was ok, the adjustability needed extra support with units weight

Good Airflow, Feels Cheap
When I first got it, I plugged it into a USB wall charger and It wasn't working. After turning it on and off a few times it started working. After plugging it into different USB ports and plugs I found that it's a bit stubborn and doesn't always want to cut on at first. When I FORCED the batteries in, was not an easy task, it worked perfectly!I got this product for my newborn's car/stroller seat. It clips on the canopy fairly well, weighs it down a little. There is a variety of ways to clip it on and I believe it will keep my newborn cool when we are out in the heat. Purpose served. The only worry I have is how long it will last. I hope it isn't as cheaply made as it feels.

Not happy
Too heavy, cheap plastic, doesn’t stay in stroller hood, fell on baby, super dangerous. And is also loud.
