JADO820/003/105 Illume Widespread Lavatory Set, Old Bronze

The faucet what the nicest faucet I've even purchased, however, I've only purchased Moen, Pfister and Pegasus (Home Depot brand). The Jado faucet was solid, well constructed, easy instructions, and the packaging was nothing I've seen before for a faucet, foam individualized compartments for each piece! There was only slight issues with the installation. The instructions said nothing about the rubber seal that would fit snuggly into the underside of the sink. Although the rubber seal came pre-installed on the drain pipe, the instructions didn't actually show or say anything about how to place the seal into the sink. There were some trial and errors to stop the leaking until the seal was far enough into the sink. The other problem was the drain stopper never was able to prevent water from leaking from the bowl. After several attempts, water still trickled, however, I don't really care, I don't use the sink in that way. The stopper works well enough to prevent small items from going down the drain, and good enough to hold water for a short amount of time. The mechanism to operate the drain stopper is also something I've never seen before, no more metal rod through the whole thing. This is a cable the just twists into the backside of the drain pipe and voila!I would purchase a Jado again, but unfortunately not for my kitchen sink. I actually do use the kitchen sink to hold water sometimes.

Jado was a great product before they moved manufacturing to China. Ask any high end bath shop why they stopped selling Jado products. On the flip side their customer service dept. is great in helping replacing broken parts. This is not the same quality products as sold in years past.

The original shipment was the wrong style. But, Mike Q arranged for easy prepaid mailing back to Deal Yard. The Jado faucets are beautiful and wonderful quality. My installer was very impressed. Koehler has a similar model for more than twice the price. Thank you Amazon and Yard Deal. Susan

Beautiful faucet. The style is simple and transitional with a nice chrome finish. Very high quality faucet. One of my favorite purchases.

Avoid. Owned for 2.5 years, bronze is peeling right off.

I remodeled my powder room and bought this faucet for my sink. It looks beautiful, is high quality and works perfectly. Couldn't be happier!

I bought this Jado faucet 2 years ago because of the good looks, low price and good reviews here on Amazon. When it started leaking a few weeks ago, I called in the plumber who took one look at it and said, "Oh, it's a Jado" -- he gave me his assessment that Jados are low quality and don't last long. The stem cracked inside and couldn't be fixed, so now I am faced with a ridiculously high estimate to replace the faucet with a new one. I will never again buy another Jado fixture and do not recommend Jado to anyone else.
