Good value- gifted one to each of my two daughters as a fun treat. They were different dolls which was fun for them.The dolls are “cute” and come with a lot of fun accessories to keep little hands and minds busy for imaginative play. I think they are kind of silly, personally, but the girls really like to play with them, so that’s what matters. They set up little towns with the bottle houses and keep quite busy. These are our first fruity ones (we also have a few originals). I let them do the tears in the bath and that keeps mess down! Past once or twice, they don’t care about the tears and just play with the dolls.

Great toy for a toddler, like my 3 year old. She loves cry babies (I don't know why?!). I don't- cleaning up water spills is not fun. TIP: tell your little one this is a bath toy so they have to use it in the tub where the water spills will drain! Works for us!They do smell pretty good, even after several uses. We use them every night in the tub. We received kiwi and watermelon- scent is spot on. Colored cries last only first 3-4 fills.I haven't experienced mold 😬 luckily, my toddler knows not to put things in her mouth.Great bath toy or gift!

My grand baby loves Cry babies and the scent on these dolls are amazing, I actually kept smelling them myself. She put them in the tub with her and they still kept their scent. Amazing product I will be ordering more

These mini Cry Babies dolls are scented and dressed as various fruits. In our 2-pack, my 6 year old daughter and I received Ella and Maddie. Ella is strawberry scented, and Maddie seems to represent a yellow watermelon. The dolls each come in their own reusable container that is perfect for housing them, with their accessories, when not being played with. Each doll comes with a bottle, a plastic snap-on apron dress, sunglasses, a bowl, a spoon, a pacifier, a decorative propeller for the top of the doll’s container, as well as an accessory piece that is unique to each character. Ella comes with a red purse, while Maddie’s special accessory is a necklace for the doll. The water bottle can be filled with water and then used to feed the doll. The doll is pre-filled with a powder that mixes with the fed water and turns into a colored gel substance that resembles fruit jelly. After feeding the doll 4 bottles of water, and then waiting at least 2 minutes to let the mixture take effect within the doll, squeezing the doll’s tummy is supposed to cause the “jelly” to be cried out through two small holes in the eyes. Unfortunately, this is where we ran into some issues. Despite a lot of squeezing, we could not get the “jelly” to cry out. Being uncomfortable with leaving liquid inside of toys, due to concerns about possible mold, I attempted to empty the doll by opening the drain cap on the back of its head. I was unable to drain any of the “jelly” this way. I tried removing a leg to see if that could be a drain access point, but there is a small wall that sections the leg apart from the abdomen cavity of the doll, so that did not work either. While the doll’s leg was off, I squeezed the tummy and one glop of “jelly” spat out of the doll’s right eye. That was the only time I got any “jelly” out of the doll. There is no way to tell how much “jelly” is still left in the doll. Had I known that the doll would end up with a gel substance stuck inside, we would have avoided feeding it water. Even though my daughter was looking forward to some water play with these dolls, they are cute enough to play with, even without the water and “jelly” features. Each doll has 5 points of articulation: at the neck, both shoulders, and both hips. With the “jelly” stuck inside, we are unable to even feed the doll water and have it cry plain tears. My daughter can easily manage to dress and accessorize the dolls on her own. The little apron dress, sunglasses, and necklace simply snap onto the front of the doll. These dolls are cute and highly collectible. Each comes with a checklist that shows all the characters that are available to collect, including a “rare” character to aim for. This 2-pack set is a decent value for money, as long as the gel substance doesn’t cause any issues that would necessitate tossing out the dolls to avoid potential mold issues. The attractive packaging and presentation makes this giftable for anyone who enjoys collecting and playing with small dolls. I just wish that this Tutti Frutti series lived up to performance expectations that it set for itself.
