Decent hydration pack
The Nathan Vaporairess is a decent hydration pack. I have been in search of a good pack for my longer runs and for my upcoming Spartan Races. However, the first time I used this hydration pack for a quick 6 mile run, my lower back was in pain! I have never had any issues with my lower back before. Even with other hydration packs, weighted vests etc but after I took off the pack my lower back was killing me for hours. I tried it again for a 5 mile run once my back was better, just to see if it would happen again, and my lower back hurt again.I am a 34B, 29 years old in very good health and in very good athletic shape. I ordered the small/medium however it feels like it is just slightly too small due to my muscle around my shoulders. If I had no muscle, then it would fit probably perfectly. I am athletically built and have broader shoulders.Pros - I like the straps in the front across the chest and how easily adjustable they are. I like the magnetic piece for the water hose. That stayed in place the whole run and was very easy to use and put back after a quick drink. I liked the pockets on the side and in the back. My big phone was able to fit nicely in the front pocket that is meant for a water bottle. The bladder was nice and easy to fill.Cons - the water bounced around a lot and I kept having to readjust the pack and pull it back down in the front as it kept sliding up. I think this is why it hurt my lower back, having to readjust the pack. The pocket for the bladder is open, no button or zipper or anything to close the pocket which I thought was odd. I, personally, would like to make sure that I have some sort of pocket that closes for the bladder so it does not slide out if anything were to happen. I would like the pack to sit slightly lower. It seemed very high on my chest and my back which did squeeze my underarms slightly near my armpits. I like to wear tank tops while running but it chaffed slightly near my armpits while running so I had to wear a tshirt the second time and the chaffing did not happen. This may have happened because it felt as though it was slightly too small.Overall, I could see this being a decent hydration pack for a walk but for running and for endurance races, I do not believe this is the right pack, especially for a woman. Design and fit is almost there. Price seemed slightly high for this type of hydration pack.

Perfect for small female runners
Fully filled it weighs 4.4 lbs. My only one single complaint is that the main pouch hangs open. If there was just one button, clasp, strip of velcro...anything...then this would be absolutely the perfect hydration vest. If you are a small female runner, this is the greatest thing ever. I live in Florida, so I don't like to wear anything more than a sports bra on top for 11 months of the year, but I also go through a lot of water in a short amount of time. Oh, did I mention the pockets? I can carry gels and my brick of a cell phone in the front pockets with no problem. The pockets will also easily hold extra hydration flasks, but I've personally never found the need to do that...yet.So far I've worn this for a little over 230 miles worth of runs and it is holding up fine, even with the insane amount of DEET that gets sprayed all over it. It's also been washed and air dried a few dozen times. The Nathan logo has just started to wear off and the white straps have a permanent gray tinge to them, but to me that's just a sign it's getting worn in. I did get a little bit of chafing around the neck area and at the lower chest strap, but for not wearing a shirt, I thought it was pretty minimal.See those little loops at the bottom? Just go ahead and cut those off now, because otherwise they will drive you batsh*t crazy by your first mile. Better cut the ones off at the top too. They're supposed to be for walking poles, but let's be real here -- if you're reading reviews about this vest, you probably aren't hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Love it but....
I've been using this all summer and I really do love it. I have a few qualms though...namely the water tube flops around when you run. I could not figure out how to keep it stabilized other than the little "drawstrings" for the chest pockets. But any time I take a sip I pull the tube to my mouth then have to kind of push it back and re-tighten the strings. I also feel the loops in the back flopping around. Typically in the summer I run in a racerback tank...not recommended. The back meshing is rough and rubs. I always end up with little rug burn looking marks on my traps. Running in a tee shirt prevents this but is less preferable for me. Also the yellow chest straps are pulled all the way to the tightest setting and there is still SO much strap left over, not sure why this is. One of them is still neatly wrapped the way it came, but my little son unwrapped one so it's all jumbled up. I am a size 4, average size woman and I have the small pack. Amazon did not offer the XS size when I bought mine.Overall I really do love it. I won't race with it, only train, but I think I'll miss having all the storage on race day.

Best women's running vest I've had
SIZINGBy measurement I was an XS, but I'd say the sizing is difficult. I ended up returning the XS for a small, and that fit much better. I think it really depends on torso and bust size -- which Nathan doesn't provide measurements on. I don't think this is unique to Nathan, in general I think there is huge room for improvement in the fit for women.COMFORT WHILE RUNNINGI've taken this on many 12+ mile runs and one 50k. I'm someone who does not like the feeling of water bouncing and this is the best pack I've had in that regard. Specifically, you can use the outside blue bungee to cinch the bag down as you drink the water.OVERALLGreat storage for my phone and snacks up front. That being said, I think Nathan could still improve a bit. For one, the bungee is hard to access while running. Second, you have little flexibility in terms of adjusting the over the shoulder strap length. There are some small yellow cords, but that doesn't do enough for me; I wish they were just a bit smaller. Third, I'd like the phone and food front pockets moved in a bit -- every once in a while my arm brushes them. Finally, the zippered sides are a bit hard to access while running.

No me convence...
Buen producto, solo que me molesta un poco a la altura del pecho, como que una de las costuras o varillas se clava y molesta.

Be careful with your sizing
Sizing is probably accurate for chest size but you have to take into account your cup size. It makes a huge difference. An A cup versus a C cup can/will make a difference especially if the sizing is in the overlap territory to the next size up...ie XS to S/M. I had to return my purchase because of this.

Bladder leak
I was very disappointed to have the bladder leak on me first time out. Looks like what seems like a staple/tag puncture or something so I had to dump all the water out and finish the run without it. :(. The bag itself was great. Just took it out on a 8km run to test it out before my race. I purchased the XS and it fits perfect. I'm 5ft 3 and about 125lbs with Cup size B/C 34. Its super light weight and comfortable.UPDATE: Very easy exchange - they sent a new bag with a new bladder and the new bladder appears to have no issues. Will see on my next run. :)

Great hydration vest with very little sloshing sounds and no chaffing!
After years of being reluctant to use a vest for the long runs I decided to try one. After some research I decided on this one and I’m so happy I did. I’ve had no problems with it so far (2 30/32km runs) and I’ll definitely be using it for the marathons I’ve got lined up this year. I’m a dress size 8/10 and went for the size S but I do have to have all the straps at their tightest. I probably could of had the xs but I’m happy with this one.

Size carefully
Based on previous reviews and the sizing chart on the Nathan website, all said fits large and to size down if in between sizes. Well i was an XS based on sizing, not even in between sizes, so I ordered an XS. I could barely get my arms through the arm holes. It was so small it wouldn't buckle up. So.. very disappointed that the sizing was inaccurate. I returned it and had to order a S from a different seller. Received the small and it fits, however I get a bit of bouncing in the vest while I'm running. I'm 5'5, 120lbs with a 34a. So word of caution - don't size down. It doesn't fit large.
