A hairdresser recommended these as an inexpensive scissor for at home trims. I’m not an expert but from what I can tell, they’re very high quality. Amateur-friendly and very forgiving.

Pro stylist here. I love that the hair glides out of the shears while the shears are closed for proper texturizing. These work better for thinning out larger sections of hair. If the hair is sectioned too small they will not thin enough. The steele material is smooth I love how they feel in my hand. The handle is great and keeps your hand relaxed while working. What an amazing quality for the value! These are not like cheap shears. They work very well once you get used to them.

I now have all three, the straight, thinning (red), and texturizing (blue), and I love them all. They are very sharp and provide clean cuts, which makes them easy to use. They cut like a hot knife through butter. I had the texturizing (blue) for a year, and then bought the other two to complement my arsenal. Well worth it.
