Excellent replica! Looks, feels and performs very well
This is a first for me. Amazon refers the defective item to the manufacturer. They do not have a return policy other than referring to the manufacturer. I have updated this review because PYRAMYD AIR sells a replacement magazine at a very reasonable price. I have to take responsibility for the broken part because of my inexperience with these air guns. PYRAMYD AIR sent the replacement part very quickly and the performance of the pistol is stellar with it. Bottom line is this: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the C02 cartridge. Over tightening will break the magazine. The Springfield Armory XDE is a terrific replica!!

WOW
I have an Umarex 9XP and I absolutely love it but, wow this Springfield absolutely blew me away, the quality of it is amazing and there's no Rattle or clink to it at all it is a very heavy and durable, as long as you get some oil with it and make sure you keep it lubricated this is seriously a great CO2 replica and it's very accurate! I'm an Enthusiast and I have been absolutely beside myself since I opened it up!

Good BB gun
Great BB gun. Slide is similar to a real gun but does not perform a full cycle. Weight is almost the same. Use only STEEL BBs. Copper BBs jammed mine constantly as they are NOT perfectly smooth. Overall fair price point for this product. You my find some cheaper, but they are all plastic. This is not all plastic. Copolymer grip and steel upper. Which can disassemble for ease of cleaning!

Be gentle!
This is a really fun gun, but it takes a few co2 cartridges to break in the magazine, or you could break it by forcing the trigger, especially on the first bb out of the magazine. Real accurate and powerful, but the magazine is fussy. First , although you can fit twenty BBs in the mag, it puts too much spring pressure on the first bb and when the trigger is pulled the metal tube that pushes the bb into the chamber catches on the cast part of the magazine. Instead, load fifteen BBs, and silicone spray the mag. Then, be gentle. Let up on the trigger, try again. When the spring starts to relax, after a few shooting sessions, you can start loading more BBs with no more feeding problems. I get about 50 strong shots out of a mag, and ten weak shots that are still accurate. Be gentle but firm with cartridge piercing mechanism. Only use enough twist to pierce and then seal the connection. Just stop when the hiss stops. Use the short key provided to seat the cartridge for less leverage and torque. And check out You tube for easy slide removal, lube points, and to see how things move when you pull the trigger. Best price is usually on Amazon. If you have another air gun that uses this type of magazine, and you didn’t like that one, you won’t like this one. But this one has really nice trigger feel in single action! Great bang for the buck. Get a compact laser for real fun!

Worst money ive ever spent.EVER
Worst gun ive ever bought at any price,i have cheap, cheap guns that work 10 times better. The magazine literally blew to pieces when i inserted ithe co2 cartridge. The slide is sloppy, the trigger is inconsistent, sometimes super heavy, sometimes you can look at it and it goes off,and sometimes it sticks until you drop the mag and recock it before it works at all. And the blowback system is laughable.i feel as if i Just wadded up $70 and threw it in the trash. And of course customer service is atrocious, with the usual run around.the only positive is that it makes a great looking paperweight. Ill never ever buy another Springfield armory product.dont waste your money , unless you enjoy throwing it away .

For the enthusiasts and not beginners.
First I would like to preface with I had to get a replacement where the slide doesn't hang open every single shot or just didn't shoot leaving me worried about it going off spontaneously. TL;DR: Fun when it works, but I can't recommend it. I wrote a 5 page essay on this pistol, and I have cut A LOT of it out. Please excuse my review. The Sights: Its rear sight has white dots on a serrated mount and its front sight is a red fiber optic that feels it sits too low. From that, you get a confusing sight picture if you try to line up all three dots, where the red dot barely peeps out and you can hardly see the target you're aiming for. But as far as I have been shooting this pistol down about 10-15 yards, I can hit the target just where I want just placing by the red dot between the white dots and the red dot where I want to hit. Though the red dot sits well above the white ones, it strangely works and shoots straight. It's intuitive just following the red dot and yet strange not having all dots lined up. The Output: It feels weak to begin with and doesn't ring my ears like some of my other BB guns. It's dangerous to the user when NOT shooting soft targets that will absorb the BB because of the real risk of ricochet. Shooting empty cans with the BB gun generally puts a hole into the can if you shoot the side walls. This pistol can do that much. However, if you hit the top or bottom of a can, it will most likely send them flying backwards at the shooter or in a random direction if you're not close enough to where the BB hits at full velocity. *NOTE* EYE PROTECTION MANDATORY! This is not a toy! The Efficiency: I think you can put 3-5 magazines through from a full CO2 tank. Though you'll have to be like me where I saved a few shots per magazine pulling the trigger too slowly. If you're aiming at low lying objects, be sure to make your pulls smooth and quickly. Once you get through 1/3 of the pull, the BB is released from the magazine and can roll out of the barrel. Good trigger mastery to be learned here with this pistol as a training piece. The Slide, Slide Release, and Slide Bolt: It blows back, and it kinda blows. I don't get a noticeable amount of recoil and I'm not sure it's accurate. Either it's not full recoil for something that is supposed to be a 9mm or I've been accustomed to shooting .40 caliber rounds. It's pretty good in the regard that your sight picture does not change due to the blow back and it is pretty fun that it does lock back after the final round. This would function better without blow back. The Hammer: For whatever reason, for both pistols I received out of the box, has a wall that I can't want to pull beyond for the first shot single action or double action. It has a grinding feel, and rough to pull the trigger. After the first shot, it rights itself until you're out of shots and it is rather nice to shoot. Side Note: I managed to drop my brand new out of the box pistol into the dirt after 60 rounds. Cleaned it off and put down another 90 rounds no worries.
