Been using this nice little coffee almost 2 months. So far it's working great. Easy to use and clean.

This was very easy to set up. Take out of box, remove packing, plug in. It is very functional since it’s a coffee maker. Coffe stays hot. The pot and filter are easy to clean, rest of coffee maker not so much. Now, I had the original design for my first coffeemaker, and I have noticed a couple things since I received this. One, as someone else had stated, depends on the grind of coffee as to if you receive 3 cups or 5 cups one brewing. The fine or the ground, the less coffee in the pot and debatable if you try and add water to make an additional half pot. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. The coffee pot itself, I’m really not sure what they changed on the design unless it’s on the coffee maker, but I have noticed that depending on how you were holding it, depends on whether or not it poured straight or if it “leaks” from the pour spout. I’m not too sure about the redesign. It’s not as small as previous version, and at least with the old one, if I decided to pour a cup early, it stopped filling the pot. Not now. My fault, I saw it in the description, but I guess it didn’t register. Personally, I love Amazon Basics, but this was more of a miss than a hit. I had the original of this since 2019, and had to replace because the base stopped working; it no longer turned on ( because sometimes I’d forget to turn it off), so maybe I should have bought a new one of the old version.

This is PERFECT! Regular coffee makers waste so much coffee for my household of two but THIS coffee maker makes exactly two cups worth of (creamed) coffee per pitcher! It’s swift to execute its functions, way faster than a regular maker. The size is so adorably small, it takes up very little space and can be stored away or displayed easily in my tiny kitchen. The reusable mesh coffee filter built in is easy to remove, easy to wash, and saves me those few dollars much needed. The price is perfect, the lid of the coffee maker seems a bit light weight, I have only had this item for about a week so we will see how it holds up over time. Over all I am extremely happy with my purchase and if it continues working for at least 7 years and it still exists for purchase I will be back to confirm with even further praise and would definitely buy it again.

OK, I'm gonna say right up front that I was not expecting much when I saw the price was below 34 bucks. We needed a new coffeemaker and I saw this at the very bottom of the units that were programmable. And Amazon has a great return policy so what the heck. To say I am astounded at how well this coffeemaker works is under-expressing myself. I DID do a bit of research and knew both good coffee and programmable were must-haves. But some units force you to drill down through menu after menu, making one button (and you) do the work of what should have been a one-touch command selection. Not this unit. Clear, large, one touch commands. Want to set the hour? There's an hour button. Minutes? Same. Program? Yep, just one. This is great. Sooooo simple to set up, program, and run. This thing has everything we needed at an unbelievable price. And it makes excellent coffee that was at the top of the 'must' list too. I cannot speak to longevity yet as we have only had ours a matter of days and not months or years, but it does EXACTLY what we need for now.

Works great, super easy to program, gets the coffee super hot. Fills the pot pretty quick. I wish it came with an extra reusable filter. Super simple to clean. I like the black color. Seems sturdy so far.

It works, and it's inexpensive. That may be all that you care about. Couple of things to consider. It has a kind of thin and flimsy feel. After a couple of weeks of use, nothing has broken off, but I keep expecting it. There is something about the design - I can't put my finger on it exactly - but I am constantly spilling liquid when I use this thing. It's also a bit cranky when the cycle is finished. If you open the lid in order to remove the grounds, it "spits" at you. I actually had a small jet of boiling water shoot out in my direction from a hole in the bottom of the water chamber. No harm done, but it surely startled me. Some reviewers have commented that the auto-shutoff doesn't work. I find that it works too well. I come downstairs in the early morning to feed the cat and start a pot of coffee. By mid-morning, it has shut itself off and the coffee is cold. Finally, and this isn't their fault, you need to think about whether a "5-cup" pot is really what you want. A standard "cup" of coffee is pretty small. 5 cups is actually about 2 mugs. That may or may not be what you want. Bottom line... it's cheap and it works, but you might want to upgrade a bit.

This review is for the 5-cup Amazon Basics coffee maker with reusable filter, coffee pot, Black and Stainless steel (non-programmable conventional design). I’ve had it now for 10 days, used it several times and am overall quite happy with it. I’m the only coffee-drinker in my house and have 1-2 mugs a day probably 3-4 days a week. Pros: • Size is great for my needs, and it was the cheapest model (usually something I avoid as I find you get what you don’t pay for. Not true in this case!). • No wasteful paper filters (or worse – single-use pods!). Other models I looked at did not include a reusable filter and were more expensive. • Coffee comes out hot and hot plate keeps it hot. Cons: • The cord is short, which can be a pro for some as it won’t clutter up your counter. Because the outlet is to the left of where I keep it and the water level display and the place to fill water is on the right, I have to move it every time I fill it. I’d love it if the cord was a few inches longer. • Even when I fill the water all the way (over what they say is “Max”) the carafe only makes coffee to the 4-cup line (not 5-cup). This is enough for me, but not sure why it doesn’t fill the carafe.

Great coffee maker that's easy to use/operate. Been using daily for several months(purchased June 9), with no issues and is reliable. Brews fairly quickly, even at max capacity of 12 cups. I especially like the timer and strength functions. Very easy to program and set, to have a freshly brewed hot coffee waiting in the early mornings. Includes a reusable mesh filter, which is easy to clean. No issues with clogging, overflow or grounds in pot. The design is attractive with silver accents and looks nice on countertop. Conclusion: Good quality with easy to use features and great sale price. Definitely recommend! ★★★★★

This coffee maker is the perfect size for me. Keep in mind it’s small, but since I live alone, it works great. It comes with a removable basket filter, though I prefer using small paper filters (which I found on this site). I use filtered water from my fridge, and it brews a hot, satisfying pot of coffee. In the morning, I fill it to the 4-cup mark, which gives me about 2 cups of coffee (see photo).
