Makita 321492-3 Template Guide Adapter, Silver

Enabled my older Makita 3620 plunge router to accept Porter-Cable style brass router bushings. Precise fit, so no additional screws or hardware required. Spendy for what it is, but a sensible purchase.

I needed this to use with a Rockler sign making template kit. I mounted it to my Makita plunge base for an 18v router. You have to have this for that application (and should have come with the base) and the price is fair. It's an OEM part and fits & works perfectly. Don't overthink it and just buy it if You have the Makita plunge base and plan on making signs.

This works fine on a Mikita router base.

This is a template guide adapter that is proprietary to Makita’s plunge base for its compact router. Not much to say other than it works as it is supposed to and I have had no problems. It is easy to install, just mount it under the set screws already installed as part of plunge base.

I have a knock off Makita trim router and wanted to use guide bushings with it. I purchased this adapter, not entirely sure it would fit, but I figured I could return it if not. It fit the plunge base perfectly and creates a good fit with my guide bushings. Can't speak for longevity etc. If there's any minus with this, is the price. For the price of this adapter, I purchased an entire set of guide bushings which came with an adapter. But that's my mistake, not the manufacturer of this adapter.

I have a small 1hp Makita router that is over 20 years old, the adapter fit the router base perfectly and my guide bushings are the same, perfect fit, not loos or too tight. A simple item made well.

I wanted to use my Makita router with Rockler Interlock Signmakers Templates. I had a Makita 196094-2 plunge router base, but still needed an adaptor so the Rockler bushings would fit. This adaptor fit the router base perfectly and the Rockler bushing fit perfectly. Just what I needed.

Perfect fit for my Makita palm router. What's more to say. It does the job.
