☆ Violet Calm — A Soft Spell for Tired Skin ♡
This mask surprised me. I bought it mostly for the color — a deep, dreamy violet that reminded me of dusk skies and crushed amethyst — but it actually works. The texture is smooth and cool, like moonlight on skin. No burning, no harshness. Just calm.I put it on during my nighttime rituals, with candles flickering and low music playing. It dries slowly, giving you time to breathe. After rinsing it off, my skin feels soft and slightly brighter, like it exhaled something heavy. The scent is subtle, not too floral or artificial — just enough to feel like you’re somewhere softer. It’s not a miracle product, but it makes the night feel a little more magical. And sometimes that’s enough.Good price for what it offers. Lovely packaging. I’ll keep using it when the world feels loud.

Perfect ash tone unlocked!
This mask left my hair a perfect ash blonde; I had some light to medium brassiness, but nothing terribly orange. I left the mask on after shampooing and before conditioning, showered while letting it set, then rinsed and conditioned. The mask will stain your hands if you're not showering and repeatedly soaping your hands, so be sure to wear gloves if you're using the dry method. It should be noted that this is a color-correcting mask, not a conditioner, so while it will not detangle your hair or leave it softer, it will also not leave it greasy. You'll want to follow up with a regular conditioner whether you use this on wet or dry hair; I combined this product with John Frieda's Violet Crush shampoo and conditioner.

Wish I had taken a before picture
I am 54 years old. My hair is naturally blonde. I have not been dying my hair. I've been allowing it to go grey naturally. My grey tends to be more like a platinum blonde. However, our well water has left me with green and yellow streaks and a brassy look to my darker blonde locks underneath. Basically, when I do an up do my hair looks like I had dyed it red and am letting it go grey. Ugh! Not at all what I do. I haven't touched my hair with even a blonde highlight since I was in my 30's!(Included photos are in natural sunlight. No filters. You can see my purple scalp and breakage around my face as well as purple hued hair. I’m hoping a month of washing gets that gone before my uncles wedding in September. Ugh!)So, I researched and fell upon this product line. I was not intending on dying my entire head of hair purple nor was I trying to be a victim here. A lot of the reviews I read were telling me that their hair and hands were turned purple. Many of those reviews were where they had left the product on a LOT longer than the recommended time and had not applied it as the instructions state. So, I followed the instructions and since my hair is naturally blonde and thin I opted for a shorter sit time my first time using the product and I am so glad I did!!! If I had left it on for the directed 10 minutes, I can only imagine that I would have looked like BARNEY!Here is my honest experience after one time use:1) I do not dye my hair. The two days prior to using this product I was using a sample of Suave Shampoo and Conditioner (pink - a sample Walmart gave out which goes with the Barbie movie) which surprised the heck out of me with how balanced it made my hair and scalp. I didn't have to do any heat styling whatsoever after using the suave products. My hair was silkie smooth and manageable. [I'll actually be purchasing this product - HUGE surprise to me!!! Just to try to get my hair balanced again after the Bellisso Blunder. :(...... ]2) I did not leave the Bellisso purple mask on longer than 2 minutes3) Product turned my hands purple4) Product turned my scalp purple, especially around my face/hairline. So, I rinsed for a minimum of 10 minutes with cool water. When that didn't seem to be working, I put the water on a bit warmer.5) Product made my hair break. Prior to applying, my hair was so soft. It looked very healthy and was NOT at all dry. Now, it is dry and brittle. I can see where it is broken around my face after ONE use. I have been working so hard for the past year (after a bad perm) to fix my hair. The breakage was grown out around my face. I am now back to square one with ugly breakage around my face!6) Did not remove the yellow and green from my hair.7) Left my hair looking purplish blue. Especially around my face. UGH!8) I washed my hair prior to application with Bellisso Purple shampoo. Towel dry. I did not see a difference in the yellow. Also, noted that the shampoo was VERY WATERY. Applied the mask product evenly throughout my hair.9) My scalp is itchy. Feels dry, itchy and tender. (I do NOT have finger nails. I have five kids, a farm with sheep and huge gardens. There are no nails left on these hands. LOL Also, I know better than to use fingernails when working hair.)10) After rinsing for 10 minutes and not feeling a difference. I did follow the mask with the Bellisso purple conditioner because my scalp felt itchy and my hair brittle. The only "ok" is that I can stand the scent. Which is AMAZING because I am extremely sensitive to fragrances. It may be that the 10 minute rinse in an attempt to get the purple off my scalp and off my the hairline along my face curbed part of that. No, I would NOT recommend this product. Sorry.

This really works but use with caution
I tried this mask based on the positive reviews others have left and I have to say it worked for me. But.. you have to be careful to avoid the problems with this product that the negative reviews talk about.First, wear gloves to avoid staining your hands.Second, I applied conditioner to my scalp to avoid staining my skin.Third, apply with a wide toothed comb (this also helps avoid the problem of staining your scalp). I don't have light blonde hair - I dyed my brown hair dark blonde but it over-processed at my scalp giving me 4-5 inches of really brassy colored hair. To remove the brassiness I used a Conair wide toothed comb to apply the mask to those 6 inches starting at the scalp. The remainder of my hair was colored correctly so I coated it with conditioner to prevent color removal.Fourth, make sure to leave it on for the correct amount of time (from what I read 10 minutes). Rinse for at least 5 minutes to remove all traces. It worked really well for me. No staining of my hands or scalp and it removed just the brassiness at my scalp. My husband even noticed it had worked without being asked his opinion, so that tells to me how well it worked. For reference, my hair was a medium/ dark brown, I died it dark blonde and it is now a nice medium golden brown. I will definitely use it again if I need to.

Good price and it works
I've used masks that are a deep violet to neutralize brassiness and yellow. This may not be a deep violet, it works well. I put it on damp hair, put in a shower cap and let it be for about 15 minutes. It neutralized the brassiness. No immediate scalp irritation, but I've only used it once. It's thick so it stays on your hair and doesn't have a bad smell.
