Being a new user of Ozempic for Type 2 Diabetes, I quickly realized the box the pen comes in is not sufficient for storage and transport. Based on reviews of this Insulin Pen case, I purchased it. It is well built with plenty of storage space for needles, alcohol swabs and injection schedules. The case is very functional for the Ozempic injector. Although it comes with a cooling brick, it is not needed for Ozempic. Unlike an insulin pen, once you start using the Ozempic injector, it no longer needs refrigeration. The zipper is a little snug but, I assume it will settle in once it's been used a few times. Very happy with the purchase!

This item is great for travel or short excursions like running errands after pick up. You don’t have to run home to refrigerate it or worry about it getting warm while you finish your errands. Keeps pen cold and holds pen stable in case. Worth the purchase.

Keeps my insulin pen cold enough while traveling.

I bought this about a month ago for my diabetic husband. He uses the Novolin Flex Pen (6.5" long). We immediately put the ice pack in the freezer. Yesterday we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day (we live about 1.5 hours away); we planned on eating dinner there so taking his pen was a necessity. My husband put two folded layers of paper towels between his pen and the ice pack to make sure it didn't freeze the insulin. He also put his pills and alcohol pad in the case. The case fit into my smallish package. We drove from 7:30 a.m. with the a/c on (of course), parked and hiked into the park around 9:00 a.m. It was soul searing hot the entire day and we were only occasionally in the a/c. My backpack, which is black, stayed on my back from the time we arrived at 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. when we left the park. Once we were back in the car, I opened my backpack and put my hand on the case and found it was still cold - not ice cold, but definitely way above room temp! We drove about 20 minutes to Disney Springs and walked around there for around an hour. Once we got in the restaurant and had our food, I pulled out the case and it was still cool-ish. Definitely at or slightly above room temperature. There were no problems with my husband's pen and it was nice to have his pills and alcohol pad in the case too. This case worked great for what we needed - the Florida heat really put it to the test and it passed. This will make it much easier for us to do our day trips!

It's works....for maybe 4-6 hours. Less if you leave it in your car when it's hot outside. It does not insulate at all. The hard case is thin with reflection on the inside offering the only insulation. The zipper is good idk why ppl on her say the zipper is bad bc its not it is maybe the only good part of this case. I like it has a pocket for the needles. So if you need to bring insulation for very short trrm like going out to eat or shopping or maybe a birthday party then it's great. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR TRAVELING!

Very happy with this item. I only needed to carry one pen and it fit perfectly in this holder, whereas others were too short. It’s small and compact and packs easily.

Great case for carrying Ozempic and keeping it cold. Only thing, always keep even your empty pen in it as Customs in other countries want to cut into the sealed freezing tube to open when there isn’t anything in the case when leaving an international country.
