I was not able to return this but do not recommend if you are using it more than a few times and it did not crack my acorns. Not sturdy at all

It is a lot smaller than picture, 9 inches high and 3,5 inches at hopper. the handle works counter clock wise.The hopper fits about 15 Texas pecans, this pecan are locally sourced. I cracked about 12 pounds of pecansin 1 hour, lots of work, but we got fresh pecans for baking, not dark, high priced pecans from store. I had to spend an 2 hours to clean pecan from shell, not many pecan halves

I dislike everything about this item! Do not function as described by the seller. It can not crack a single walnut.

The “nutcracker” is very well made and it definitely breaks the shells on pecans, but it is small. What I thought would be large enough to handle a bag of nuts at a time, actually only can take a cup full. Have to really look at the dimensions next time. Not disappointed in the quality at all, just the size. 😂

This product doesn't do well for black walnuts. maybe other nuts but not black walnuts.
