without a second thought you can buy this one.I have changed my car key remote battery and top cover only local thug looted Rs 550, work without any satisfaction.For new key set local key maker was asking 1850 per set, for folding remote key he was asking 3500 per key.This one is easy to replace just place the old transponder and remote circuit (soul of remote key ) in provided case and voila you get a new key, in my case screw broken in old billet so have to go to key maker.. got key made from provided billet by the key maker for Rs 200(which they can charge maximum) for Total Sum of Rs 750 you will get a new key set. works fine.Minor difference in body ergonomic design else its a detto first copy.

The original Maruti WR key has a rectangular projection that is hidden inside the plastic cover. So the OEM plastic enclosure that accomodates that key also has a corresponding niche inside its head. But this item comes with a plain metal key part without a rectangular head, so the plastic cover does not have that internal niche. So could not use the plastic head that fits at the end of metal key. But could use the cover with the logo and screw. So this item seems useful only to replace the entire key, not just for broken plastic part replacement.

It looks very similar to the OEM Key. I ordered key with keychain but they only sent me a key. I realized the same after a week & I asked Amazon customer care to refund the difference or send me keychain they refused in very bad & rude tone. They asked return window is over I argued them it is not returnable so where’s the return window? Still they didn’t convince with me.Quality is good but key fits with shell with 1 small screw so I fitted it with professional key maker but still my kid can open it without any screwdriver. And this is not returnable so think before buying it.

The product is good and in decent quality. I brought it for 300rs but I got to know that the local shops are selling the same product for 150rs. I Swapped the remote and chip but couldn't swap the old key as it was in L shape near the screw area. so took the new key to a locksmith and cut it to the old key's shape for which I paid extra 100rs.now my key looks brand new. Happy to hold it in my hands as it feels nice.

Update after five month's usage.The holder got broken. Though I usedit carefully. Accidentally water went inside through the crack spoling the circuit of my remote. Now I need to change the whole set. Awaiting for my technician's update.Not sturdy as expected.--------------------------------------------A good replacement for a broken key.1. The pack contains only 1 key set.2. The circuit container is empty. No battery included.Seems to be the same quality of the original key set.The first snap shows the contents. The second snap shows the container after fixing the circuit and battery.The third sanp is after fixing the key. The fourth snap shows the small IC inside the holder. Without placing this IC to your new key holder you will not be able to start your car. The car will sense this IC and perform the ignition. So before throwing out your old key holder make sure that you take out this IC. I didn't find this information in the previous reviews, thought it might be useful to post this information.Giving three stars only because of the price.

Was apprehensive about the quality, fit and finish of the product, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was all very good and my apprehensions misplaced. Moved the chip and immobiliser from the old key, that had cracked up, broken in places and was very flimsy, into the new body and it's great. The new key has a great feel to it too, in the hand and the remote locking works very well. Thanks.

Best replacement for broken/scratched key shell. Product is very strudy and well built. You can assemble it at home if you only want to change your case. Little bit modifications needed in original key just need to cut the extra part to fit in shell. You need a haxo blade and a sand paper for this only. If you wanna change your key too then you need to visit a locksmith for key cutting. Little bit expensive but worth it.
