Klein Tools Crimping and Cutting Tool for Insulated and Non-Insulated Terminals, 9-3/4-Inch 1005

I bought the Klein 1005 Crimping and Cutting Tool from Amazon and I’m very impressed with the quality. It feels solid and well made straight out of the box — exactly what you’d expect from Klein Tools. The crimping action is smooth and consistent on both insulated and non-insulated terminals, giving secure crimps every time. The cutting edge is sharp and clean, making quick work of wires without fraying. I also like the comfortable grip and the fact that it doesn’t feel flimsy or awkward to use, even for longer jobs. This is clearly a professional-grade tool, but it’s just as suitable for DIY and home electrical work. A bit more expensive than budget options, but absolutely worth it for the reliability and build quality. Highly recommended if you want a dependable crimping and cutting tool that will last.

Five tools a set Value for money. I like them very much. Value for money.

The cutters are great and the crimp tool works well. I do find that for the red butt splice heat shrink connectors on smaller gauge wire I need to use the uninsulated setting to get a tight crimp and if you’re careful you won’t cut the insulation. I prefer the non insulated setting anyway and usually that one anyway regardless
