I bought this OFF! Deep Woods Dry insect repellent for a hiking trip, and it worked even better than expected. I work my property as has lots of woods to contend with along with "Bugs"... generally mosquitos. If it's hot I'll work in my shorts making for ripe feeding grounds for mosquitoes. They love my ankles. This dry formula OFF does the trick keeping these devils off of me. The handy 4 oz. size is easy to take on trips, and easily stores in a car or truck door pocket. Keep one in the car or truck!

Fortunately, this works and keeps the fleas off of my body – because we have a huge infestation and they are really bad in the yard this year. Apparently this is one of the worst years for fleas in living memory. I can’t go outside without getting jumped unless I have this product on. The other day I had on white leggings, and I put 1 leg and one arm out the front door for only two seconds to pick up a package. Literally 20 fleas jumped onto my white leggings and started crawling upwards, and I had to rush to pick them off one by one and throw them back out the door so they wouldn’t lay eggs inside the house. After using OFF on my legs, I can now go outside in white leggings without getting swarmed. The only thing I don’t like it is that it feels oily, and it has an unpleasant chemical smell that causes me to feel nauseated sometimes.

This product works exactly as expected. However, caution is necessary when applying it near grass or plants, as it will kill any vegetation it comes into contact with. I accidentally sprayed my shoes while standing on the lawn and later noticed distinct footprints of live grass surrounded by a dead patch where the spray had made contact. Use with care around any plant life.

It helps tremendously in the summer with the mosquitoes in our yard and sitting on the deck !!!!

I live in Oklahoma and this “dry” repellent is the best I’ve used. It also keeps the flies off of you.
