Can you use this with gas dryers? Our Gas dryer is located in the garage without access to a wall for outdoor venting.

We have a similar set up, in the garage without access to a wall for outdoor venting. We’ve used this device for many years. We have a super long coil attached so we open the garage door and leave it outside while using the gas dryer. We replace this vent every other year. It’s worked fine up until now, thankfully!

Will this system cause thd dryer not to turn on?

I don't see why it would keep your dryer from coming on. I love mine so much, I got one for my daughter. I used it all last winter and then disconnected it and returned the air hose to the outside vent in the Spring. I just reconnected it yesterday to vent back inside, now that the weather is getting cooler. My dryer is about 6 years old, but my daughter's is only 2 years old and the deflecto dryer lint trap works great with both our machines. We are using it to keep all that heat and humidity inside for the winter while it is cold and dry outside. Hope this is helpful.

How many gallons of water you can put inside? I am using simple bucket with some nylon net to catch lint...

I don't known how many ounces it holds but it does not hold a gallon or anywhere near that much.

Does gaurda clip to back of dryer electric to catch lint

I would not hook it to the back of the dryer because of all the moisture. I have mine setting on a stand next to my dryer. The moist air blows out into the room. I disconnect it in the Spring and hook up my outside vent. I use this lint trap to keep the warm air and moisture in the house for the winter months.
