I thought Sam-E needed to be in blister packs to preserve the pills themselves. I notice these are not. Is there a reason why?

The blister pack is one issue - I notice they recommend refrigerating these after opening which would help preserve.The more important point to me is that these have no mannitol (stomach upsetting) in themand that they are a true 400mg dose of SAM-e- not 400mg of the salt compound as many others are.

What size are these pills? I have a hard time swallowing pills.

Long flat tablets, 7/8” X 3/8”, smooth coating, I find them easy to swallow. Don’t break them, they are enteric coated. Exposure to your stomach acids will significantly impact their effectiveness.

No they cannot. They are not supposed to dissolve in your stomach which is why they are to be taken on an empty stomach to have any effect. If you cut them, it affects the coating on the pill. They do come in different doses however so hopefully you can find one that suits your needs.

Where where they made? good practices facility does not mean anything to me. they packed them in usa but where were they made? what country?
