This is the reason why you see the different bulbs advertised with the cell numbers highlighted and why people complain about expecting brighter light output. This bulb is still so much better than the original, it is worth every penny to upgrade.

It' has ncredibly more light intensity. The difference is dramatically postivr. The light casting ability seems almost twice as far in distantance. Every bit of coverage area is filled with strong even light.No going back to the old type bulbs . The product video is even understated in just how powerful this new design performs. Not sure of its life span.but another in my wish list Q. The package came wrapped in a protective foam. For people who need serious light in serious situations this is a go to.
