Q: Can you use this to tie a 40 foot sailboat to a mooring ball. Will the waves constant rocking cause it to stretch and not recover?

The rope is double braided and that is why it stretches like a rubber band. It might provide too much stretch for your purpose.

Q: Does this product come with the cary bag as advertised in the photo? Some reviewers have mentioned that they had not received it. I also would like it

I received the kinetic rope with a carry bag on 7 June 2021. Not a super-heavy duty bag, but it's just fine for the purpose. The rope and bag together are quite compact. There is a velcro strap for gathering the rope and keeping it together, which is also nice. Now I have to test the rope to see how well it works.

Q: How many lbs is this strap rated for?

According to manufactures web site the 3/4" is rated 19,000 lbs. and the 1" is rated 33,500 lbs.

Q: Is bag included? Not clear when "later" be and what "ok" really means.

I got the 1/2" x 20', it did not come with a bag.
