Q: Will this fan work with a dimmer switch? I want to be able to adjust manually. Thanks

As you know you have to solder the wire from the fan to a 5v converter that runs on 120v, then you can plug it into a dimmer switch, as that is what I use.

Q: What is the acceptable voltage range for this fan? I like to use it in a boat application and voltage goes up to 14.8V when charging.

Hello friends, the 9225 fan can work at 14.8V, but it works better under 13.8V and has a longer life. The ball bearing fan has a larger air volume .

Yes you can use any 12v dc power supply, as long as it outputs more than .1 amp. The .1 amp rating is the amount of current it uses.
