I am going to use the relay box, but want to utilize my own switches. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the wires that run into the switch pnl?

I cut the wire grouping going from the fuse/relay box to the switch (with the buttons) open to do the same thing. There are 8 wires (18 gauge) that are color-coded with the 16 gauge labeled wires leading from the fuse/relay box towards your accessories. They are orange, brown, green, yellow, white, blue, red and black. I don't know the order (i.e. which corresponds to Fuse #1 or Fuse #6. The black will be your negative and the red will be your accessory power. I believe this red is the same red (small wire) that comes off your main positive connected to the battery. You could hook this up to your underhood fuse panel using a fuse that only receives power during ignition in order to have the switch follow suit. Or I believe you could just bypass using that wire and simply tap into your interior fuse panel and use your own wiring.

Would this work in a 2020 JL Jeep?

yes for sure, I mounted the panel on the passenger side to the center console and went with the cables besides the drivers door, this is a little bit tricky but works fine. make a holder on the drivers side in the engine bay and mount the relay box there. very good product and easy to install.
