What are the ingredients listed on the packaging?

The ingredients listed on the 10% sulfur soap packaging are: Saponified Palm and Palm Kernel oil, Lanolin, Fragrance, Coconut Fatty Acid Diethanol Amide, Salicilic Acid 0.25%, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide. I'm listing in order on package because my skin is very sensitive to Fragrance. The company's answer listed fragrance last (so it should be the least amount of the ingredients. I probably wouldn't have purchased if I had seen this. I haven't tried the soap yet. This is just a warning to those with sensitive skin. Joesoef: please make a soap version that is fragrance free. Sulfur stinks but the scent goes away in a short time. Thank you.

Does this help with hyperpigmentation/scars?

It does nothing for my scars or hyperpigmentation. I think it’s solely for clearing out acne or breakouts in which it really does help. It’s just very drying.

Does it smell like rotten eggs like some sulfur soaps do?

Not like rotten eggs but YES like sulfur. It does NOT smell like regular bar soap or pleasant. Do not let these other reviewers fool you. I tried it once and I can’t get the smell off of me.

Has anyone used this and compared it with zinc soap?

Yes, my daughter used both zinc soap and this, and got much better results with Josefs soap.

Strong fragrance perfume smell

Soap has a very strong perfume fragrance - especially considering it’s marketed to sensitive/rosacea skin. I can smell the perfume while the bar is still in the packaging. Unlike previous sulfur soaps I’ve purchased, it does not have any sulfur smell. Undetermined whether it’s working as intended.
