Good deal and handy in an emergency
These are perfect for an emergency blanket to keep in your car and they are also perfect to line your grow room and grow plants with, just be responsible and don’t catch your house on fire in grandma’s closet. They are not super durable they will rip just be careful. They are super reflective. Got 6 for 10$

Love how functional they are
I wasn't quite ready to commit to a huge roll of mylar right off the bat so I thought I would give these a try. Very happy I did. They are perfect to reflect light back into my metal shelves and all it takes to hold them up are two bags clips so I can easily take it up and down when I need. I don't know yet how it will hold up to that kind of use long term but luckily there's six of them and at this price I can always buy more. It's hard to tell from the picture but these are somewhat translucent which is a plus for me since it allows me to see through to my plants

Works well
Good insulation. Keeps heat in or out as long as sealed correctly. Worth every dime.

Good product for the price
Super thin and rips easily. Very large area coverage and super reflective. Helped in the increase of plant growth but was a bit of a hassle to install. I WOULD, however purchase this item again.

Used on a DIY project, not what they were intended for
I had no intention of using these as a blanket. I bought them because I wanted to make a highly reflective surface around a wire shelving unit where I have hydroponic lettuce growing.I know I can just go out and guy a grow tent that has its own shiny internal lining, but I didn't want to. I wanted to use my existing wire shelf rack with a removable siding. So I purchase these because they were very large and wouldn't require me to piece many of them together sloppily. So I gook an old box from a TV I had sitting around and some spray adhesive and simply cut my box into pieces (2 pieces for front and back, 2 pieces for sides, and 1 piece for top). I taped it together around the rack and cut holes where I needed them for cables and to hold fans. Worked perfectly! Now I'm taking advantage of all the reflected light from my grow lights and have a fully removable, modifiable, and light-weight housing for my shelf. I even have a removable front-piece held in place with magnets for when I want to remove just that part. So instead of a $50+ grow tent I have a 3$ one that does the same thing. Now I'm going to go and grab myself a $47 steak because I earned it :)I know some people would have said "why not just use aluminum foil". I'll tell you why not.A) More ExpensiveB) I would have had to do it in stripsC) Harder to deal with, mylar is SIMPLED) MOST IMPORTANT: Aluminum foil is conductive to electricity, Mylar is notE) Tears easily and wrinkles, mylar stays pretty flat and even

Saved my plants!
We had temps in the low 20's coming and wanted to make a valiant effort to save my camellias, orange tree and tomato plants so ordered this product. We placed this over a frame with spotlights and frost cloth then clamped securely. After several days of below freezing we removed the covers and everything was fine, I couldn't believe it! It is very lightweight as described, but out of six sheets only one ended up with a 3 inch tear in the side which can be easily taped. I can't be more impressed with the results.
