Trafalgar Shaving Cream 190g/6.7oz

I got Sandalwood - it's really good quality and the fragrance lasts for a good couple of hours afterwards.

I wasn't expecting a shaving cream I thought it was shaving soap. My mistake but at least it has a good sandalwood smell.

C'est une crème donc très facile à utiliser. Au delà, ce n'est que du bonheur, ça transforme le rasage en un très bon moment (et justement pas une corvée!), même les matins où on est pas des plus toniques et remplis d'allant. Le parfum de bois de santal est agréable. Dans la série mon préféré est la violette, c'est génial, santal est plus traditionnel et constitue une valeur sure. La mousse est épaisse et onctueuse, la coupe nette et la peau impeccable. Il n'y a pas de secret, avec de bons savons (ou de bonnes crèmes à raser comme ici), on est mieux raser! Et puis, il n'y a pas de mal à se faire du bien. Je conseille ce produit.

Truefitt and Hill - Rasiercremes der Spitzenklasse, Rasierseifen auf Durchschnittsniveau: So ist der von mir aufgrund meiner Rasurerfahrung zu unterstreichende Tenor in unzähligen Rasurforen und so wurde es mir persönlich in der ersten Oktoberwoche im Truefitt and Hill Geschäft in St. James von der netten, älteren Verkäuferin auch gesagt: "Take the cream, our creams are far better than our soaps. " Diese Creme ist jedenfalls super spitze. Schnell abzunehmen, schnell aufzuschäumen, super weicher Schaum, super Duft, super Einweichfähigkeit der Haare und super Pflegeeigenschaft! Der absolute Hammer ist der Duft! Genial einzigartig! Zurückhaltend, jedoch auffällig anders als alle anderen Seifen / Cremes. Minimal holzig, leicht Weihrauch, leicht Leder und leicht gewürzt, etwas orientalisch gemischt mit Sandelholz, schwer zu beschreiben für mich. Bin da kein Experte. Wenns hilft: Afrikaforscher aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, Gerhard Rohlfs hieß der glaub ich. An den Roman von dem hab ich gedacht, als ich zum ersten Mal an der Creme roch! Auf jeden Fall wirklich ein Hammer, da mal ganz was anderes. Ebenso das Aftershave -Balm. Super Balm mit dem oben beschriebenen Duft. Teuer, aber sehr gut, - und was Besonderes. Kaufempfehlung!

Questa crema da barba mi era già stata consigliata ma devo dire che, essendo molto legato alle creme Tobs, per una ragione o per un altra ho sempre rimandato l'acquisto. Rimasto ,in tutta franchezza, un po'deluso dalla Taylor Peppermint ho deciso di dare un'opportunità a questa crema. Inutile dire che sono rimasto colpito sin da subito per il profumo, tipico delle colonie inglesi, di questa crema da barba dovrebbe trattarsi di una profumazione basata sul legno di salice con delle spiccate note agrumate e sentori di erba di prato. Parlando della sola profumazione probabilmente questa risulta particolarmente indicata per i periodi primaverili ed estivi, il suo profumo è gradevole ma non invadente. Passando alle caratteristiche meccaniche di questa crema questa si presenta a pasta molto morbida ideale a mio avviso per il face lathering e ne consiglio il montaggio con pennelli in tasso o sintetici purché molto morbidi. Mi permetto anche di consigliare il prelievo con il dito piuttosto che con il pennello dato che la particolare morbidezza della crema potrebbe indurre i non esperti ad un prelievo eccessivo essendo, infatti, sufficiente davvero pochissimo prodotto per ottenere una di schiuma più che sufficiente per le canoniche tre passate. La protezione che questa crema riesce a dare in viso, nonché la sua scorrevolezza, è a mio avviso superiore a quella di qualsiasi altra crema inglese sia essa Taylor o Harris o Floris, per quanto di quest'ultima io abbia usato solo il sapone a pasta dura. Se ciò non bastasse il prezzo è inferiore a quella di ogni altra sua concorrente e, per quanto mi costi dirlo essendone io estimatore, anche dal punto di vista meccanico questa crema si pone ad un livello superiore rispetto alle creme Taylor. Ovviamente la profumazione essendo fresca ma tenue può non soddisfare chi è alla ricerca di creme dalle fragranze persistenti. Queste sono le mie impressioni che come sempre sono soggettive e variano da persona a persona tuttavia chiunque proverà questa crema avrà di certo la sensazione di utilizzare una crema da barba di altissima fascia. Consiglio pertanto il prodotto ed invito chi non l'ha provata ad acquistarla perché si tratta di una crema che non può mancare nel armamentario di ogni tonsore. Prodotto fantastico venditore serio e spedizione perfetta e , a proposito, la confezione in cui vi arriva la crema è di certo un altro importante tocco di classe

Truefitt & Hill is a gentleman's grooming company established in 1805. To commemorate Lord Nelson's victory in battle Truefitt & Hill named one of their top fragrances for this occasion. This being Trafalgar. I mainly use the replacement soap that Truefitt & Hill sell for my wooden soap bowl I bought from them; however, when traveling this makes it rather awkward. Truefitt & Hill knows men are on the go, but still enjoy a great shave, so have created these wonderful soap jars to take with you on travel. As with the brick soap, these soap jars last a very long time; as you only need a small amount for a good thick lather, with a distinguishing scent that is rather haunting, and not overly strong. One jar of Truefitt & Hill shave soap, much like the brick soap by Truefitt & Hill lasts about as long as approx 8 or so aerosol cans of shave cream. I can judge this as my roommate uses aerosol shaving cream. Plus aerosol cans use a numbing agent which harm the skin later throughout the day unlike brick or jar soap by Truefitt & Hill. So its actually cheaper, smells better, better quality shave, and lasts longer. I prefer the Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar scent, however, all the scents by Truefitt & Hill are very good. It is just a matter of taste and preference of what one enjoyes. Trafalgar is a subtle, haunting rich scent of sandlewood, lavender,jasmine and other spices; blended nicely to be very appealing, but not over powering. Basically, just authorative and confident. One can honestly see why Truefitt & Hill named this fragrance after the Battle that Lord Nelson led England into victory. Also note, with the jar creams by Truefitt & Hill a shave brush is not needed although I still use mine when I need to travel and take my jar with me. You can easily use your finger tips, about the size of a US quarter 'or less' to massage on the face usually does the trick. With a true 'real quality' shave soap you don't need much, nor a huge lather either. The shave will make you almost become impatient for the next day as so you can shave again. The day is long and hard on every man, so why not give yourself something to start the day off with right? Something that also has a long history behind it as well. A last piece of information: I always purchase my Truefitt & Hill through [...] from The Grooming Lounge and will remain doing so. As I find The Grooming Lounge to be very fast with deliveries, plus packaging is beyond words by them. A good shaving is priceless; but a great seller who takes care of your shaving needs is also just as priceless. Vengo de una espuma de marca Proraso y tengo que decir que esta me gusta mucho más, huele muy bien, a cítrico pero muy suave, no molesta. La espuma es gorda, hace falta muy poca cantidad. El pelo queda muy suave, en combinación con una máquina merkur da un afeitado perfecto.
