Comfort Zone 60-Day Starter Kit: 1 Cat Calming Diffuser & 2 Refills

I was really apprehensive about this product actually working. We have been trying to integrate 3 cats, 2 new ones and my older one. We had gotten the 2 new additions at 2 different times. There have been some power struggles, I was hoping this kit would help and it does not disappoint. It does take some time for the diffusers to begin to work, approx 2 weeks or so. I have noticed a difference in all 3 cats when they are plugged in (very little power struggles or fighting) verse when they're unplugged. The behaviors are completely opposite. The value pack is great for longer term use. I plan on using these diffusers for approx 3 months, the value pack price is the best price for this goal. These are also really easy to use, the diffuser bottle twists into the diffuser , then goes into an outlet. I was expecting to return this kit, but the difference is so noticeable, we will continue to use these. I highly recommend them for difficult transitions.

This stuff is magical! I just moved to a new apartment and my cat did not appreciate it. She would hide during the day and as soon as I would lay down to sleep, she would wander the apartment and meow constantly. For hours & hours all night long. I’m a lite sleeper so I didn’t get much rest at all. I expected her to need some time to adjust but I had no idea how long. Days? Weeks? Months? A friend told me about this stuff and I was desperate to try anything. When it arrived, I plugged it in immediately. That night she was so much better! She still got up, wandered & meowed but not nearly as much. And by night 2 with it in use, she was completely fine. She may have wandered but she was quiet and I was able to sleep. From what I understand in researching the product, it doesn’t work on all cats and it can take weeks to work. But For my cat, it worked great and super fast!

When we moved our two old female cats in with two old male cats, we were anticipating things would be a bit tense; this especially because one of the boys, Alpha, was kind of a jerk already. We were going slow with things for a week or two, until Alpha passed away suddenly, immediately propelling his brother Gregor to try to fill the new power vacuum. The girls, Soft and Cozy, were not aggressive at all, but Soft does have some bad anxiety, and was always going to need more time to adjust. We were also concerned that Gregor, becoming more aggressive, would be lonely without Alpha. This is all to say that it's kind of hard to tell if the pheromones worked, or if Soft, Cozy, and Gregor just all chilled out. It did take a while to work, but at this point Soft is willing to sometimes leave the bedroom, and Gregor and Cozy will sometimes nap within a few inches of each other. It was worth a try, I think, just to see these three old folks happy around each other.

They are okay, I noticed they dont work as well as the days go on and bottle gets lower. I probably wont buy again.

I originally bought this for a very scared new kitten I'd gotten years ago. I tried every trick I'd learned to help a new kitten adjust to a new home and new owners but nothing was working. She was so scared, I couldn't get her to come out from under the bed. So, I decided to try this because a veterinarian recommended it to me. It is a synthetic pheromone that mimics the pheromone that new cat mothers release in order to keep their newborn kittens calm and safe while they nurse and sleep. I didn't have much faith in this, at first, but was willing to give it a try. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks and should be plugged in the room the cat is in most often. It doesn't affect humans and we can't smell it. I continued to lay on the floor and talk to her as she hid under my bed, made eye contact with her, would reach my hand out to her and even sing to her. Nothing. By day 4 with Comfort Zone plugged in two different outlets in my bedroom, I heard her start to purr as I talked to her. Then, I put my hand out and she slowly sniffed it. Eventually, I had her rubbing her face against my hand, which means she's marking me with her scent; an honor coming from a cat. Little by little, I noticed a bunch of changes from her coming out from under the bed during the night time to eat by the window, rather than eating under the bed, walking around the room in curiosity about what different things there were to smell and climb and then came the biggest change which I began to fear may never happen: She jumped up on my bed and slept at my feet. After that, I knew that with time she'd be the affectionate kitty I knew she wanted to be. The poor thing was just so overtaken by fear and anxiety that she wasn't able to do anything about it until she felt safe enough. That was my first experience with this amazing product. I've used it for many cats for a variety of different issues, most recently being, my 4 year old Burmilla cat bullying my 2 year old Burmese cat. I've plugged two in for them. One is in my bedroom, where my younger cat hides from the bully cat and the other is plugged into the outlet near the cat tree downstairs, where my lovely but bully kitty tends to hangout. These have been plugged in for a week and a half now and there have been a lot less fights, my younger cat has gained some confidence and leaves my bedroom during the day for small periods of time, here and there. My older cat isn't stalking the younger one as much and seems to be less pent up with urges to attack something or someone. It's hard to know how much is time, work on the owner's part and how much is from this pheromone but given the number of times I've used it and there has been some change, though neither drastic nor complete personality change, it's enough behavioral change to give me belief that it definitely plays a beneficial role in most cats' progress.

So, we've had these installed for a bit, and it seems to have helped our cats, who had a rough time with a move. The first refills we used with the diffusers lasted a few weeks and things seemed to be going fine. They didn't really smell like anything, but the amount inside the bottles slowly disappeared and the cats were calmer, so I didn't think much of it. I refilled the diffusers when the originals got down to the bottom, I plugged them all back in, and went on my merry way. However, about a week or two later, I was alarmed by the sudden stench of burning plastic. I frantically looked around wondering what could be smoldering in my house, until I discovered it was coming from one of the Comfort Zone diffusers. I was horrified. What if I had not been home and caught it when it was just at the horrific smell stage? Was something melting inside? The refill had not gone empty and still had at least 1/3 liquid left inside of it, so it never ran dry. They were installed correctly into a wall outlet and not plugged in upside down or anything. No liquid had spilled out anywhere outside of the unit, and the unit had remained properly plugged in. At that point, I removed all the CZ plug ins. I can't trust them after this. For as much as this kit costs, I'm a little miffed that 1 out of the 3 diffusers would malfunction like this within 3 months of use. The refills didn't really seem to last as long as advertised, but I can overlook that. Scaring me half to death in the middle of working at home because I smell burning plastic down the hallway? Unacceptable. TL;DR: Something went wrong with one of the diffusers and it started smelling like burning plastic one day, so I immediately stopped using them. Do not recommend experiencing that.

Cautiously optimistic — but so far, it’s working! I started using this on Tuesday afternoon, and it’s now Thursday. For context, I have an adult female cat and adopted a male kitten about three months ago. Things have been rocky — they mostly get along, but sometimes fight (hissing, swatting, biting), especially at night. After these fights, both cats are anxious — jumping at small noises and even shaking. I put my older cat on prescription meds at night to help her relax, but that's not a permanent fix. I read good reviews about this product and decided to try it. So far, I’m impressed. Both cats seem calmer, they slept through the night with no fights, and today they’re playing together better than they have in months. I was prepared to wait weeks to see a difference, so I’m pleasantly surprised by how quickly it seems to help. I’ll update if anything changes, but for now — it’s looking very promising! Sharing video.. something that hasn't happened in a few weeks. Update: It's now Saturday, still very excited by the results. No more gladiator battles at night and they're playing nicely during the day. My adult cat is back into her old routine of moving from window to window throughout the day and sleeping in her regular spot at night. No longer seems concerned or fearful and doesnt need to have the kitten in her sight at all times. The kitten is also more relaxed. One note.. not all of these diffusers are created equal. I tried another brand (the main brand) when I first brought the kitten home and it seemed to make things worse. I'm so happy that I decided to give this a try.

I bought this for my cat Sylvester who has been having issues with using his litter box. The bottles last a while but I’m still trying to figure out what my kitty’s problem is with peeing outside his litter box. His vet did every test there was and came back ok. So I’m pretty sure it’s behavioral but don’t know how to treat it yet. I’d buy the pheromones again for sure though

Very effective but takes time My cat is much calmer and even sits next to the younger bigger male cat who she used to be so scared of

I bought this when my took British Shorthead cats fell out been ok for 4 years then boom all hell broke out was recommended this it is plugged in the room they sleep & after 3 days things have settled down,the only thing I’m not sure about we had to use an adapter to plug in & I can’t see any vapour rising & it seems to be leaking on to my floor but since thing have calmed down I’m not to worried

This is DANGEROUS!!! 15min after plugging it in, the plastic started melting, smoke and fumes all over the house!!

Product stopped working within a month.

Usei o produto na adaptação do meu 4° gato. Posso dizer que vi diferença no comportamento de dois, apenas um que demorou mais para aceitar o novinho. 75% de eficiência é um pouco triste pelo valor.
