The d9 is better than all these mentioned in my review
Started my bt speaker search with an insignia sonic... not good ... next speaker jbl extreme 2 which was on sale for 149.99 but even at that price to me the sound wasn't good super muddy and not what I was lookin for... next was a soundcore motion plus.. great speaker but not quite the bass I was lookin for even tho I know at the end of the day these are smaller bt speakers they're not home systems like I have in my basement but the motion plus was good enough I also ordered one for my dad... problem is at that time soundcore also released the motion boom so I ordered that one while still holding onto my plus... instantly I liked the boom better.. not as good as mids or highs of plus but with eq adjustment it came close... the problem with these 2 speakers is at 80 percent volume or higher and this is connected to my note 20 ultra they would begin to distort.... over 80 percent and it got bad and sound especially on boom would drop off.... so I then sent those back and ordered the updated all black aiwa exos 3... so far at this point the exos 3 was my favorite altho bass heavy songs at 70 percent or more volume and it would also distort... so sent it back... next up I ordered a harmon kardon onyx 6... that speaker if you love bass and plan to always leave it plugged in is a great speaker.. the problem is when you unplug it and I guess to save battery they cut the power to it its like half as loud or good as when it's plugged in... on top of that for rock and country it was not great for hearin the instruments and vocals bass great but all the rest not great and again unplugged and it was automatic deal breaker.... so watchin reviews etc I stumbled upon the W King D9.... I ordered and let me tell you I was impressed from the get go and that was before my wife helped me update firmware but after a lil time with it I increased volume and from 70 percent all the way up to max all this thing does is get meaner and better.... for real the bass is legit not as deep as onyx 6 plugged in but better than it unplugged and def better than the rest altho the motion boom is close but again the motion boom at 80 percent volume or higher just goes downhill.... and im huge soundcore fan own 3 different pairs of earbuds and headphones.. liberty 2 pro spirt x2 and the q30 so im not tryin to knock them but to me and I'm being 100 percent honest this w king d9 is what i feel you'd get if you put the boom and plus together as 1 speaker..... now after a while we updated firmware biggest difference is more bass on each setting but most noticeable on the indoor eq setting.... but more I listened to it it really continuse to blow me away with the sound quality.. great bass mids and highs and man does this thing get loud and it does so without distortion.... so add in the phenomenal battery life the super convenient handle and I finally found my bt speaker I was lookin for... so much so I ordered a 2nd and for anyone looking to do that the sound that these speakers put out in tws is unreal... its truely amazing and I just really can't recommend this speaker enough.. at the full price of 89.99 with then 10 percent off so like 82 bucks it's a steal even at 89.99 it's a steal.. last week I noticed they had it at 76.49 with 10 percent off so I ordered the 2nd one and one for my oldest brother.. he currently has a bose revolve .. ive listened to the revolve for 199.99 and it's big brother the revolve plus for 299.99 and to be quite frank .... this updated d9 smokes those in sound quality .... I promise it does and that to me is what makes me so thankful fir finding this speaker.. all the searching and tryin out speakers I feel of all the ones I've had this is hands down the baddest meanest best sounding bt speaker of em all..... order this speaker if you're like me and have tried others... you too will appreciate it and again for the price it's a no brainer!!! W king... ya got a new customer and I gaurantee I will tell anyone and everyone I know to get this speaker....ladies and gentlemen.. the d9 smokes all those speakers I mentioned the onyx 6 would be the best closest out of all those hut that's only plugged in and even then you'd only get more bass but not as loud and not as good a kids or highs as this d9 and onyx 6 unplugged again the d9 smokes it!!! Anyone on the fence order it.. you won't regret it!! Also added a photo of how you pair 2 together from owners manual

A waterproof speaker with phenomenal bass and long lasting battery life under $100?? Sold!
Came out of the box brand new at 80% charged. So I used it until it died, which was two days later. I use this in the garage at work because I like to listen to music loudly, typically I'm the only one there. However the few employees that came to visit (work? whats that) were in awe of how well the speaker performed. Phenomenal bass, it legit looks like a mini boom box, woofer in the back. It is a lot bigger than what I expected. You're getting a decent size speaker for the price. I was originally going to get a JBL that was $179, was on sale for $149 but I figured ONE MORE TIME I will try a speaker for under $100. Best damn speaker ever! Has no issues connecting to my phone either. Sound quality is excellent. Keep in mind tho, it is a bit on the heavy side since its a chunky speaker so its not like picking up canned veggies like a JBL or Oontz.

IPX6 water resistance rating, no charger
I just played my D9, for 10 hours, no downtime, half volume power, and still have 70 percent power left. A good 60W speaker system, well designed, durable, and a water resistant cabinet to boot. The equalizer is dual settings, with the bass incremented in one setting and the other is less bass, and more of the singing, and voice overs, going out clearly. I tried to listen to it on full power, bass EQ, and it was clear, no distortion, like some others, I own(ed). I move my unit in my backpack, so I removed the plastic handle, (the screws are at the bottom of the handle, hidden by a plastic cover, on both ends), if fits in my backpack easier. The case is made of durable plastic, which would withstand a sizable fall. My only shock to the system, was from the top of the roof of my home, (15 feet), fell to the grassy yard below. It would have done damage to the handle, if it were on, I believe. The unit sustained no damage. No operational problems at all. Luckily it did not drop on the passive radiator, on the back, it would is the most vulnerable spot. I tried to get warranty, using a card, that came with the unit. The website did not work, to do that, so I wrote them, and asked how do we handle this. [email protected] is the email I wrote to. They replied with an email, recognizing the failure of the warranty website, and asking that I keep and retain, the email, as a registration for a two year warranty. Now then I did send them my name, day of purchase, date of delivery, who I bought it from, and the number on the front of the box, the unit came from. I could not find a serial number, on the unit. Bare in mind, what you are getting for less than a hundred dollars. This is an excellent BT speaker, and a good price point, well researched and made. In comparison to my JBL, w-king wins. Upon ordering this unit, go ahead and order a charger, made by w-king. W-KING USB Charger, at Amazon, is where I got it. It comes with an old style usb port, (type A), I believe. It will hook up your C power at the box, and the A port, in the charger. This charger is a 5v, which is the max allowed in box, and it will have the usb Type A, needed to power up. Now then there is a charge cord, well made, braided line, with a type A usb on one end, and the C on the other for the box, included with the unit, along with a line for the jack, 3.5mm, to go wired. NO CHARGER though. If you have the type A usb acceptable charger, and its at least 5v, then you wont need a charger. So, we all know that ratings, for water resistance, are internationally known. IPX6 is listed, in the w-king description. It is also followed with: waterproof....now the standard does show a water resistance for 1 minute, from a .49 inch nozzle, from many different angles, with no disruption of operation, or loss of operation. This unit is not waterproof, but very water resistant. For the price, there is no way you are going to get waterproof, (immersion). Just know that it will put up with a little splash, dripping hands, some rain, or in my case a water bottle, in my backpack, leaking most of its contents, (8 to 10 ounces), all over the case. No issues. I would also recommend you dont play this unit, on its ends. Im not sure of the principals behind it all, but the unit did not sound up to my expectations, playing on its end. So dont stand them up on the ends, (unlike the D8, this one has no speakers on the ends), it changes the quality of the sound, lay flat on its gripper surface pads, and enjoy. I will buy another D9 and pair them up, to get true stereo. Best BT speaker for the money. I will buy more for my kids, as the need arises. Very happy.

Solid Speaker for the Price
I got this on on sale for $66.78, and for that price, this is a great speaker. It can get very loud with less distortion than other speakers around this price point, and the battery life is great. There's only 2 EQ settings - a bass boosted one and a normal one. With the bass boosted, the speaker sounds full and the bass is solidly heavy. I don't ever see myself using the other EQ option - it just doesn't sound as good. As for the cons, this thing is big, bulky, and heavy. The non-removeable handle makes it a bit of awkward shape to fit into backpacks or suitcases, and it is bigger than other comparable speakers in this price range. I don't fault W-King for that - I knew this was exactly what I was getting when I purchased it. In addition, the sound quality falls short of other comparable models at normal volume levels. Coupled with the fact that you don't have a customizable EQ means that you cannot fine tune this to get the best sounding audio. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I definitely heard the difference when I played this next to another speaker side-by-side. I also wish there was a way to control the speaker from your phone - having to go up to the speaker to press the button to change the EQ settings is a hassle, but I don't really use the other EQ setting anyways. Finally, I don't know if I received a defective product or anything, but the EQ buttons has lights next to it, but mine never changes when switching between modes. This means I can never know which EQ setting I am on except by just listening to it. Overall, this a good product that is even better suited for people that will mostly keep this speaker in one place, and need something that can get loud. If looking for the best audio quality in general, you may want to look elsewhere.

Perfect for the Golf Cart and easily my favorite portable speaker.
For starters, this small speaker really kicks out some sound and while it isn't as clear as a comparable Bose or Sony, it isn't far off. I waited a bit before writing this review as I wanted to see if the battery held up as long as they promised and I have to say this speaker will run nine hours at full volume before needing a recharge. I have taken it out on the golf course 9 times now and charged it 3 times during that run with no reduction on battery performance. I put it on the floorboard of the Golf Cart and the only thing you can hear is the music. You can still hear the music well from 25 yards away while on the green so it is perfect for the course. The equalizer button only has 2 settings, Bass and less Bass so don't overthink settings. The bluetooth connection is pretty good at 50', but it will start to fade at that point, not sure if this is due to my Samsung A16 or the speaker. The speaker takes calls seamlessly and the microphone is adequate as long as you don't stray to far from the speaker. The speaker also works well indoors and I will add that setting this speaker on a normal table greatly extends the sound. If you are looking for a balance on price and performance I don't think you can beat this speaker in the 80watt range.

I Wasn't Sure What To Think At First
I bought 2 of these to dj with, and haven't tested them out at a venue or a house party yet, but I have used them in several environments, and I can tell you that they really are punchy and bassy. I take one everywhere with me in my SUV, I've tested it out in different rooms of the house, I've synced 2 to see how loud it gets, and I have noticed a couple of things to highlight. 1. They get loud, but not ridiculously overpowering, so that's a plus. The volume when turned to the lowest setting is still kind of loud, like for example, if you're trying to listen to music quietly, or at night. They sound great in my SUV. If you put one of these in a boxed in area, they bump so hard, for example, here, on the floorboard of my front passenger seat, yeah.... Boom boom boom boom. Thumps. So, you can get some super serious bass coming out of these if you put them in some kind of old school carpeted speaker box maybe? That's just an idea I'm thinking about doing for my gigs. They're ready to go right out the box. They take a while to charge, but with the sound these things are producing, the drawbacks (which aren't many) are heavily overpowered by the positive aspects that these speakers have. They're light, they're durable, they're easy to sync up, and they're great sounding. The price of these I would say is good, and if you order 2 of them, you definitely have a super great quality Left/Right audio mobile sound system that you can take with you on the go. You definitely need 2, but they're worth the investment. I strongly suggest that you pick these over all the other available options that are on Amazon. These really are king. Wow.
