Use to aid in decision making on fractures.
I use this as an athletic trainer to help me diagnose the potential for fractures. I couldn't imagine not having this in my kit and I have shared this with several of my AT friends for them to use because they don't have one. Definitely money well spent for an amazing quality product!

ADC 256 Hz
bought it for being 256, one of the most commonly used in medical practice. works perfectly, Rinne and Weber acoustic tests; both air and bone are very accurate. First time I used it on myself, perfect both ears both air conduction and bone conduction. First patient actually had a clinical finding proving its worth and that it works precisely. Accurate

Works ok as a first time tuning fork purchase
It does work ok but I want something with a deeper and longer last vibration .. This is my first time buying after minimal research so I cannot complain or compare .. The handle is nice and long and the vibration (though short in duration) does work for pain release .. For the money this was a great deal and I am happy starting out with it .. I do not feel it was a waste of funds even though I now realize I need something different.

Great for the money!
I needed this for nurse practitioner school. This product is cheaply made, but it does work! I would recommend this for the money!

It's nice and compact
Just as described, no problems with it. It's a higher frequency, so it will not vibrate strong or very long. It's nice and compact, but not the best for testing vibration sense.

Budget choice
Does serve its purpose but the material is bad. Weight distribution wasn't there so it felt flimsy. If your on a budget for med school then I'd say go for it.

Great Price and Value - Great for the beginning medical student
I purchased this for a student and he was very pleased with the quality and value of this tuning fork. Excellent and light-weight for use during examinations involving several types of hearing tests. Works as well as any of the more expensive models found in the clinics.
