Would not reset check engine light on my 1998 Toyota Camry "Erase Failed!" error code. Scanned code correctly.

Yes. Will work on all vehicles sold in the U.S. since 1996. All of these vehicles have a female plug, usually underneath the steering wheel. Just plug scanner in this plug, turn ignition to ON, turn on scanner, read codes, read manual. Great for erasing the check engine light if code shows no mechanical problem. I have two of them, because one seems to be on loan all of the time. Still worth the investment.

I have an airbag warning indication... is the MS300 applicable to airbag diagnostics? Thanx!

You need OBDII WITH SRS to see airbag codes. Airbag codes are not part of the OBDII requirement so it is an additional module and those scanners cost more. (you can add ABS and Transmission codes to the list of modules you may have to add) You wont find any handhelds that do all that for $20.
