Amazfit GTS 2 Mini - Smartwatch Green

Wanted a tracker just for basic hikes and mapping my routes, text messages and to let me know when someone’s phoning me, have my heart rate on all the time, switched sleep off as I don’t really need it on, daily morning alarm on, find my phone is a must as I have my phone on silent most of the time. Pleased with size as my eyesights not to good, as I take it off at weekends the battery lasts me over 3 weeks and even more, reason being as I find it gets quite sweaty wearing it constantly, so give my wrist a breather. Quite an impressive band , have found heart rate quite accurate when comparing readings on my bp monitor, and steps as well. And a good selection of faces. At first use you will find your battery draining from messing about with settings , as it took me a while to find the compass, and playing around with the choice of faces, turning things on or off, but as soon as you got it set up to how you want it, give it a full charge which should last a decent time, unless you are into every workout that’s available. Also I have turned off light up on wrist movement as it would constantly come on at work and a waste of battery, so I use quick press of button which saves even more battery life.Update Nov 2022Still going strong, battery life excellent, both loops on band broke off so plenty replacements on Amazon , have recommended to 3 people who are impressed and one even replaced their very expensive smart watch.Use to hate wearing watches but cannot be without it as it’s so comfortable, and to read notifications without having to drag my phone out.UPDATE October 2024- still going strong, battery life still lasts about over 3 weeks, but as I only use it for steps and gps hike mapping, and alerts for calls/emails/texts and a simple time display. It gets a lot of knocks and water splashing from my job.

Nice size and colour, lots of clock faces to download and choose from, for me a much better size as smaller than most smart watches but big enough to see the screen. A good amount of features, I like the GPS to track my walks.Have had problems syncing with the app on my iPhone so I can use the alarm function which is great as it vibrates on your wrist so doesn’t disturb your sleeping partner!Battery time is good, overall pleased with my purchase

This watch is comfy to wear, looks a lot more expensive than it is & works brilliantly with an Android phone. (I believe it also works with Apple but with less autonomy.). The Zepp app allows a lot of customisation - watch faces, which apps send alerts to the watch, alarms & the ability to pause media players & know when your phone is ringing. It can also track your sleep & a large number of different forms of exercise - though this wasn't why I purchased it.You need the GTS 2 or 3 if you want to answer your phone on the watch, rather than just be alerted to it ringing & it sometimes loses the media feed when it's paused, so you have to restart it on the phone. Other than that it's great & battery life (when used as a phone connection, rather for in-depth fitness tracking is amazing - I only need to charge it once a fortnight.

What can I say, this is a cracking bit of kit. Battery life is excellent I'm getting well over two weeks between charges and I'm not a light user. Accuracy is excellent, benchmarked the heart rate recording against my heart strap and they match well. Tested the GPS against my Polar cycle computer and great correlation. One big plus is the A-gps which uses the phone to get an initial location, so has a location the second you press the go button. Synchronization via Bluetooth is easy and the app displays the information clearly. Sleep tracking seems correct and matches figures I got from other devices in the past. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a smart watch, at the price it's amazing

I was the proud owner of the Amazfit Bip for 3 years..I loved it and it's still working, but when I saw the GTS 2 mini online I thought I deserved an upgrade.I have skinny wrists and a lot of smart watches are just to bulky for me..but this watch is light, thin and comfortable enough to forget it's there. I wear it to bed.I'm no athlete but like most of us I'm trying to keep myself motivated to do something..I've only really used the walking workout mode for outdoor walks, which uses the built in GPS.I found the stats to be accurate and plenty of detail for me.The controlling Zepp app is excellent, and integrates with Strava, so my friends can give me kudos!The sleep monitoring also seems detailed and accurate...gives stats showing deep,light and rem..it also measures short naps!The battery life is excellent considering the beautiful screen, health monitoring and GPS. I find i get approx 4 days life with it set to measure my heart rate every 10 mins....if I set it to every 1 minute, I get a day and a half.Did I mention it integrates with Alexa?? Hook it up to your amazon account and with a button press (no wake word) you can talk at your sexy watch to dim the lights and play your music!And of course, it delivers notifications to your wrist, with quick response options, has configurable haptic feedback, world clock, timers etc, multiple watch faces to choose from....I love it, recommend it to anyone 😁
