Perfect for military wear.

This military belt, is not military grade, but is good product and meetsFirst my expectations.

First off, belt works fine, looks good and holds up one's pants. It will not disappoint in those areas. However, buckle looks and functions slightly differently than issued belt buckle (other reviews mention this in some detail.) Based on that, I bought it intending to use the belt with my old buckle. This brought me to the second difference. Belt is thinner in thickness than issued belt so it doesn't work with issued buckle unless you have three hands or a trusty manservant to help you get dressed.

Company I bought this from, refunded my money after not showing up for weeks.I wore a thicker version of this in the Army, a long time ago. Good for my tall, skinny Grandson!Be kind… Peace to all.

Pros: For under $10, it holds my pants up. So it's a great value, hence 5 stars.Cons: It's not the military version, where the friction plate is hinged to move independently of the buckle. This can sometimes cause a hassle to get just the right level of snugness. The webbing is thinner. And the black finish is already chipping off, after just 2 months of less-than-everyday use.But it works!

Most military web belts have a standard buckle that the web belt goes through and then is secured by a small rod pushed back upon the belt to secure it. But these can and do slip from-time-to-time. Thus this particular web belt has a buckle that the belt is woven in and out of that does the same thing, but NEVER slips out of place. It is my favourite type of belt for dress or work situations. Highly recommended.

Took me a bit to remember how to size it. Pry the clip back on the buckle and cut to fit. Re-clip the buckle and you're all set. Just make sure to leave about 3" - 4" just in case.
