SmartSHIELD -3mm 16"x50Ft Reflective Insulation roll, Foam Core Radiant Barrier, Thermal Insulation Shield, Commercial Grade (16"x50')

I ordered this to insulate in between the ceiling joists in our basement. When you're upstairs, you can feel cold air seeping through the hardwoods. This insulation was super easy to install and stopped the cold air draft in our old house. I only bought one roll first to make sure it would work. I have more on the way to finish the job.

I need to use this insulation in the winter for my apartment windows. They're not good at keeping the heat in my house so I put this over the windows so it reflects the heat back in. It keeps my bedroom substantially warmer than when I don't cover the windows. It's nice and thick and the roll is a great length.

The SmartSHIELD 3mm Reflective Insulation Roll has been a decent addition to my insulation needs. The foam core radiant barrier seems effective in retaining temperature, and I've noticed a difference in temperature stability within the area it's installed. However, given its benefits, I had hoped for a slightly more competitive price point. While it delivers on its promise of insulation, it would be more appealing if priced a bit lower.

I used this insulation on the inside of my Jeep Sahara 's black roof. It was easy, works like a dream, certainly cheaper than having my roof painted and much , much cooler inside now. I have one wish.. that it would have had peel off 2 sided tape already on it or even better a sticky inside like contact paper. I would, without question recommend it to anyone for any kind of do it yourself insulation.

This stuff is great! It is basically thin foam with aluminum foil on both sides. I did use it for installation, but probably not in the typical way that people use this stuff. I wanted to create a winter greenhouse for my bonsai plants to spend their dormancy outside. I took one of those portable greenhouses and Covered the outside with this material. There was so much of it, I had some leftover even after covering all the sides. Then, I covered the whole thing with The original zipper greenhouse cover. I am really happy with how it turned out. I think it is well worth the price.

Effectiveness not as desired.

We used this product to insulate underneath a house. It was perfect in size, as the width was fit to cut. The insulation is thick, manageable and made for an easy installation. It was also cost effective which was a win win!

Wasn’t what I was looking for exactly but great product.
