Ryka Women's Influence Cross Trainer

I was nervous about these because of the reviews that stated the shoes are very narrow at the toe. I ordered a 7.5 wide and they fit perfectly. Used them at the gym today and had zero issues. They supported my feet well for everything I did. They are also cute and light weight.

My wife started taking Zumba and other cardio classes at our gym and initially was using her running shoes. Running shoes are great for going in a straight line or around a track but don’t work if you need lateral movement. She hurt her knee while trying to move to the right in her running shoes. Her instructor recommended Ryka shoes. She chose the color and the size ordered fit her perfectly with no slipping or heel tightness and have been comfortable to wear with no foot or ankle issues. After the first class using the new shoes she told me how they were much better than her other ones. A couple of the other women in her class commented that they really liked the way they looked. Besides Zumba she uses them for cardio sculpt and HIIT classes and the workouts are better by using these specialized yet versatile shoes. She liked them so much I just ordered another pair in a different color on Prime Day.

I like these shoes but I am glad to take them off after hours of wearing because the sides are tight though I ordered wide width. I opened the laces as loose as possible. The width is not as roomy as the Dash Rykas. They walk well though not a bouncy shoe. They aren’t stiff bend well and are a light weight walker. The white is pretty with the silver bands that will be visible for night walking.

These are my second pair of Ryka Influence cross trainers. These shoes fit true to size, are roomy in the toe box, hug the heel & have good support. The black/blue color is very nice. I use them for Zumba & my feet feel happy in them.

I had previously owned a pair of Rykas years ago and loved them. The fit was fantastic and they lasted for quite a long time until after several years they were retired to lawn mowing shoes. I primarily do CrossFit (4-5x wk). I'd been using my faithful Asics running shoes for the past 4 years, but really needed something with less sponginess that would provide more foot stability for weight lifting. Most CrossFit shoes don't have high enough arch support for my foot so I decided to go with a cross training shoe that could work across the varied elements of CrossFit. Enter Ryka Influence cross trainers. First go was fantastic! They fit well, they're very light, and I had no sore spots after using them for the first time in a workout. Second time... Not so much. We did 5 rope climbs in the workout and I had a terrible time keeping my foot hold on the rope! It was terrible and took twice the effort to get through the 5 climbs. I attributed it to the 'slippery' material the shoe is made of. I didn't realize until I went to change out of my workout clothes that the shoe had basically disintegrated from the rope climbs. Mind you, this was not a jute rope, it is cotton. You can see in the pictures what it did to the sole of my shoe. Overall, I would recommend this shoe for general fitness activities, but obviously not for something involving rope climbs. Just to be clear, I’m not a competitive crossfitter (obviously, or I wouldn’t have used running shoes for so long), but I am a 50-yr old female athlete that happens to love CrossFit. I’m not hard on my clothing or equipment. And after 4 yrs with my other shoes (including lots of rope climbs) they’re none the worse for wear except the tread is wearing thin.

I tried these shoes after my last pair of Sketchers stretched out and I started having sore legs, ankles, and feet in the morning when I got up. These shoes really provide good support, although my next pair will be 1/2 size larger. They're a little tight and I'm hoping they'll loosen up as I break them in. I also feel that the tongue on the shoe is really thick and could be slightly shorter, as it rubs against my ankle. All in all, I'd recommend these shoes to friends.

I would go e these shoes a million stars , my foot was hurting so bad when I do Zumba , changed shoes multiple times , this is the only one that helped me , I can't believe the pain is gone and I'm enjoying zumba again

The Ryka Influence shoe fits like it was made for me personally! Amazing shoes! I have a medium width foot, wider at across at the little toe joint and narrow at heal. I also have high arch. I have these shoes in every color I can get my hands on in case Ryka phases out the style since the thick sole look is currently trending. The best thing about RYKA’s are in the details. The tell you the heal to toe rise. They have sole types based on your activity. They are made specifically for women. The Influence model has a low heel rise of 8 mm so my foot is not thrown forward. It has a circular area or pivot point on the sole under the big toe. Didn’t realize how useful that was until I had to do 3 months of PT. This model is marketing for use with activities like aerobics and Zumba but I wear my RYKA’s all the time. I first saw them when taking my husband for medical treatments at the hospital and a lot of nurses were wearing them several years ago. The first two pair I ordered, I ordered in my usual size 8. The fit was exactly spot on and allowed for thin footies or socks. I only wore them to the gym at that time. Three years later, I found I needed to go up to a thicker cushioned sock and the shoes felt a little tight at the toe so I purchased 8.5 size. Perfect!!! I now live in these shoes. I damaged both knees in a recent fall and these shoes help keep me aligned so I can wear them all day without pain or discomfort. I wear them to the gym and PT with no problem and they’ve held up very well. Admittedly, I don’t do hardcore activities in them but I am hard on shoes. I wish I’d had sense enough to wear them while I was still teaching! Ryka has a wide variety of styles, both lace up and slip on. I highly recommend the brand and so glad they have a store on Amazon now!!

I haven't worn Ryka for over a year, my feet are so much happier now :) I will not wear anything else.

These fit exactly like the 7.5W shoes I have ordered recently.

The rubber sole does seem cheaper than other sneakers BUT omg!!! Nope…. So much better than other sneakers. My feet feel perfect, so light any airy!! I bought these months ago and I spend on average 300 mins per week at the sports club and they are still like new! So please produce more because you now have a new loyal customer.
