I have not had any luck with the wireless charging portion of this charger, plugged in and as a battery independent of an outlet as well. There is also the unfortunate situation of the battery, even after being plugged into an outlet, and being treated as if it were royalty, as many of us do with new electronic devices. The battery managed to show as being connected as a charger via the symbol on my phone, yet no power seemed to be added even with the phone simply resting on the table and not running any extra, or user added applications in the background, the phone managed to drain as if it where in a talking situation. As opposed to standby mode. The battery did not function better while plugged in leading me to believe that there is also some sort of issue with it being able to pass power through it. This battery must have had some sort of catastrophic failure. I just wish I could have received a functional unit...

Works great! Does double duty as my battery bank and wireless charger for my S7. (I do use a case which is maybe a little thicker than 5 sheets of typical printer paper) I measured its output from fully charged to empty with a 1 amp load through the usb port at around 4200 mah, which I'm happy with considering the small size and very good value of this device. You can always expect to have some energy loss whenever charging wirelessly (dang laws of physics) , so charge with a usb cable for the full 4200 capacity, or wirelessly if you want the convenience but don't need the longevity. Quickly: Lithium-ion batteries are primarily worn out in phones over time by discharge cycles (deeper discharges do more wear) and fast recharge cycles (makes heat, also bad). This devices allows me to keep my phone charged through the day (reducing discharge cycles/depth) and charge it slowly (over wireless) reducing fast charge stress. My S7's battery isn't removable so I cant replace it but I need it to have maximum capacity during its working life. With this device I can easily set my phone on it through the day most days and give my phone an easier life. Cons: Neither the usb nor wireless charging are very fast, but reasonable and I'm satisfied with that as its what I personally want. Charging two devices at once would probably be really slow. Plug phone in to OEM wall charger if you want fast. As a note it does get very slightly warm to the touch when discharging but I consider that normal and I dont think its an issue. When the device is turned on without a wireless charging phone on top a very very quiet clicking can be heard if you hold it to your ear. I figure that's the device constantly checking for another device to charge. No idea how much power this uses. And when you first set a phone on the box, or move it around, a very quiet high pitched coil whine can be heard but it quickly goes away so that doesn't bother me. I can't comment on its wireless charging efficiency or its longevity yet.Overall a great little device which operates exactly like it should! Very happy with my purchase.

Works like a standard battery bank. Used it to charge my iPad. Purchased a wireless charger for my iPhone 6S. Plugged in and slap it on the 5DP POG and it detected the wireless phone charger. I have more trouble attaching the wireless charger to my iPhone and house it in the phone case than using the 5DP to charge the phone.
