fruit basket arrival
Most of the fruit was excellent, but an orange was rotten and an apple was bruised. All the other fruit tasted great.

Buyer Beware! Avoid this Company At All Costs
We read past comments about the practices of this company that were offset by a slew of positive reviews over the last year. I decided to take a chance and unfortunately just joined the ranks of individuals deceived by their marketing. First - the official weight of the fruit was just over half what their advertising claims! We marked our legal scale at a hair over 6 pounds, certainly not the 10 pounds falsely advertised. Second - the fruit selection was beyond unacceptable - small, off shape, marked, and not suitable for any type of gift presentation. We literally have 5x better quality options during the off season in the small convenience store in our small town. The fact they could ethically try and ship this as a gift to give others - Disgusting. I cannot fathom what it would take to select the pieces that they shipped us with a smile on their face. This is maybe $6-$8 of poorly selected small fruit - marked, scarred and small, and frankly for the most part would likely not have been selected to show at your local grocery mart. There is no bounty, it is not suitable for a gift, and using the Golden State reference to capitalize on consumer imagery of lush full fruit is just slimy.

GREAT GIFT and DELICOUS FRUIT!
I bought this as a gift, and had it delivered to my Daughter and Son-in-law in California, along with so,ed other things. They loved the fresh fruit.

Perfect Christmas Gift for Clients
I just ordered eight (8) baskets - yes, really - and sent them to 8 different clients for Christmas. There are so many unhealthy gift basket options (candy, cookies, popcorn, snacks) that I thought this might stand out from the crowd and be a nice change of pace. So far the baskets have arrived faster than expected - and I took advantage of the FREE SHIPPING offer - and the feedback has been terrific. "Golden State Fruit" is smart to sell their baskets on Amazon. I am a HUGE Amazon fan, including a Prime Membership. The picture looked beautiful, the reviews were all 5 stars, and they offered Free Shipping. That's all I needed to take the plunge and drop close to $400 with this company. I'll follow up if anything changes, but for now I am very pleased with my decision.

Some of the fruit was overly ripe.
I bought this as a thank-you gift for my doctor and office staff. It was OK but some of the fruit was overly ripe. Not worth the money.
