Amazing!!!!!*****
Amazing Product, I am so glad I tried this out, 100% efficiency rate when used in your grow room. But the most significant thing is that my grow room is in my bedroom on 2x4ft. Metal shelves, so my room was super bright, I had to wear a mask to sleep. But the mylar sheets kept all of the light bouncing around inside, But the best part was it kept the light in & you can totally see through your grow. It became a 2 sided mirror. Highly durable, I used tape to attach it to my racks, but I want to use wires or twine that I have, Amazing Product, I ordered extras, worth 10x the money spent******

Does a good job reflecting heat
I got these to help reflect the heat from sunlight pouring in through some windows. It was easy to handle (be careful unfolding it because if you unfold it too forcefully it will tear,) lightweight and it does indeed help reflect some of the searing heat coming in the window. It still allows me to see out, although the view is a little unworldly, silvery and dim, rather like a special effect for a sci-fi movie. My windows are not subject to birds crashing into them; you'll want to make sure birds don't think they are seeing a throughway. Something to be mindful of since we share the planet with birds. Because these packages are so small and lightweight, they'd be nice to have in the car or in a backpack in case you must be out in harsh elements.

Works well to shield eyes from million megawatt plant lights!
I bought these to protect my family's retinas from the eye-piercing lights I installed to over-winter my succulent collection. They work very well for eye-shading. As you move the material it tends to wrinkle and where it wrinkles you can see that some of the reflective material rubs off. This seems like a natural occurance. You can see the rubbed off areas where the new sheet was orginally folded in the first (brightest) picture. The sheets are very, VERY thin, but they have been durable, despite the ruboff. And they are inexpensive, so you can just replace the sheets when they get too worn. If you have plant lights keeping your plants alive but killing your eyeballs, you need these.

Great price, fine product
Great price, fine product, generous amount of material. I taped it to cardboard to create reflecting box around my Aerogarden. Tomatoes that had been stubbornly slow and had stopped growing suddenly came to life. New growth, faster growth, more flowers and more tomatoes. Difference was dramatic and almost instant. I had been using metal foil reflectors before and they helped but only a little. Easy to cut to measure with scissors. It is somewhat delicate, but once fastened to backing... I used corrugated cardboard... sturdy and effective.

More durable than expected. Not 100% opaque.
So these are very light, thin sheets but they're quite durable. I fully expected them to tear while being a bit rough on them, but they held up. They are surprisingly tough considering how thin they are. Maybe that's because I wrongly expected them to be as fragile as thin aluminum foil. Speaking of which, these sheets are NOT like aluminum foil which is 100% opaque. These sheets reflect most light but they are transparent, I would estimate around 95% reflective and 5% transparent. You can see right through them, but you have to be looking at something bright, like the sky or day-lit scenery.

Ok but not high end quality for large grow
Not the highest quality but seems to be preforming ok. This type of product thinner product is never easy to work with unless you use proper technique when applying. Couple decades ago before everything was made oversees I fell like the quality and thickness was greater which made it easier to work with. But this is low cost and ok if you take some effort to apply it. However, I would not use in a large grow or anywhere you expect it to last to long. If you have a small window or closet garden to increase sun/light on a handful of plants maybe ok but I would not expect you would be able to line the ground outdoors as pictured wind and debris would destroy it immediately. I adhered it to some rigid panels for small area that does not get a full day of sun and it is holding up at least for 5 days

Cheap and works.
Needed some mylar to line a greenhouse to stop wasting light, since it's in my basement. My seedlings are all much happier and I even got some of my chili's to start fruiting in the greenhouse. Still have 4 sheets left. Not 100% light blocking, but reflective enough to allow my lights to no waste a bunch of energy lighting up my basement. Also was cheaper per sqft than the bigger rolls, though those might be better at blocking light.
