Love it works great for fixing you clothes.I use it all the time . Great for on the go and traveling. You can put in you backpack and suitcase 🧳 I will be getting more for gifts everyone needs this in there home.

Went through about six fasteners trying to get this to work. Used their button and my button. Just doesn't work. Maybe the one I got was defective but it just did not attach the button. Left the fastener in the unit. Had to pull it out to try again. Went to their website and watched a video to make sure I was doing it right and I was. Oh well, returned.

The tool arrived with no fasteners and no buttons - nothing else in the box besides paper packing material. Very disappointed, this was an urgent delivery for me. -- UPDATE -- Amazon shipped me a replacement immediately, got it next day. Satisfied due to excellent response, updated to 4 star :D On the tool itself - it works well on thinner clothing (shirts), but on thicker clothing (coats) not as well. I did manage to get 3 of 4 buttons to work on a winter coat, but the 4th just wouldn't work for me.

Hay guys or women have you ever been in a rush just jumped out of the shower and are getting ready to go out for any occasion and the shirt or pants button pops off and your pissed because this was the shirt or pants you wanted to go out in the world and wanted to just look the part. Well this is your back up plan you got this little hand tool that you stuck in your sock draw and you thought you would never use this thing. Well it's happened to me to many times to count, but after buying this little gadget I never had this problem ever again.. Trust me every thing I just told you is true, this little gadget works and the price is worth it.. It's a SINGER and Singer worked for mom and it will work for you.. Just think back to the sewing machine Mom had same company that Mom trusted in, well so can you.. Try It, it works....!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this Singer Button Fast because it’s made by Singer. I had read reviews about missing fastener strips, but also read about the compartment in the unit that stores the fastener strips. When I opened the package, all I saw were the 12 buttons in the compartment, so I was thinking I hadn’t received the strips either. Then I saw there was a second compartment in the top of the unit. That turned out to be where the strips are located. I was trying to secure a button to the front of my pajama top. We’re not talking thick material here, just jersey material. But the fastener would not go all the way through to the back of the material to secure it. After seven wasted tries, I went out to my studio where I have a wooden shipping station. It has some small holes drilled in it. I put the button fast through the button and through the material, pulled the material very taught, and all the way down the base of the needle. Then I put the needle into the hold in the wood, and pushed down hard on the unit while pulling the trigger. That’s when I realized that the trigger basically has two clicks before the fastener pushes all the way through to the back of the material. One click releases it from the strip, but you have to pull the trigger very hard all the way back until you hear the second click. That’s when it is secured through the button and material. What I don’t like about it, other than it being hard to use without applying pressure is the way the fastener sticks up on the back of the fabric. It forms little V shapes, which stick out and scratch against your body, as in the attached image. The end doesn’t lie flat like you see on the plastic fasteners they use to attach price tags to clothing. Overall, I finally got it to do what it’s supposed to do, but am not happy with the final result or how difficult I found it to use.

I almost came here to write a very bad review because despite all the other reviews that I read before purchasing this, I very badly needed this so I took a chance hoping that the reviews were wrong. Boy, were they horribly wrong! Upon opening my package, I noticed that it was only the Singer stitcher and instructions. I proceeded to look inside the box more, as well as read the contents of what the box was supposed to have. Here I was very upset and thinking, “oh no the reviews were true”, but then I decided to explore the Singer some more, and noticed two compartments (Little red doors ) in the back. I opened them up and to my amazement were the missing items that I assumed were not sent with the package. Lesson learned, don’t jump to conclusions and look for the little details. Super satisfied and excited to use this little Singer!

This tiny plastic devise was not worth the money for me. Granted, I had bought it for a craft project, rather than for sewing buttons. But it didn't do either very well at all. The buttons I did attach to a fabric were not securely fastened. Also the protective cap on the needle is not secure, keeps falling off. Meanwhile, the two small compartments on the body of the devise (used to store the buttons and fastener strips) don't open easily. It was a struggle for me to open one of them. This gadget is not a good buy.

For us men, this Singer Button Fast is fantastic! It uses rivet-like fasteners to do the work of sewing. Great device.

Really good delivery, is well made and works as advertised! Must be sure to keep a firm insertion pressure as you pull the trigger! Firmly attached button on my first try.
