Did t fit my denture

After experimenting with a couple of other brands, I found that the Secure brand works best! Strips for lower dentures, while the paste works best for upper. One big thing I have done that has made using the strips far easier and less messy...........I now CUT THEM IN HALF BEFORE PEELING COVER OFF, LENGTHWISE! Basically doubles what I have. I found using an entire strip led to glops of the adhesive seeping out from underneath the dentures. With a half strip, I still have the same great hold but far less waste and glop! The half strips are just easier to fit into the denture as well. Plus, these are expensive for someone on disability pay, so I need them to work and last. The strips remind me of a thick piece of chewing gum, but they really work well. The fact that they are far safer to ingest.....NO ZINC............is a huge draw as well. I don't care how careful you are, you will ingest a small amount of the denture paste while you eat and or drink. I have learned that hot liquids will loosen ANY brand so I wait until after my morning coffee to put my teeth in. For me this is no biggie waiting. As far as taking them out at the end of the day, it has been a learning curve for me. They stick and I mean stick! The upper dentures need to be rocked a bit to get them to loosen. That may be from using more than I need, but for me I like to make sure they stay put. Also, there will still be residual paste/glue/glop, whatever you prefer to call it............after removing both upper and lower. I run warm water to get it off, but if you soak dentures overnight you can easily remove any of this as it turns into a loose gel. I take a q tip and wipe it off easily. There are times that I will have the same happen to the roof of my mouth. I rinse with very warm water and it comes out naturally. I just spit it into the trash or wipe with paper towel. This all may seem a bit much, but for me it is all worth it. Especially with this product being zinc free. I have not had any problems with paste leaking out of uppers. No matter what you choose, it is almost impossible to stop all leaking, but at least with the secure brand, you have a healthier and safer option. Cut those strips in half!!!!!! Save money!!!!!!!

Have been using lower strips for my uppers since may..n have discovered a few things that might help..when cleaning denture..use hot water..when i used cold water..they fell outta my mouth..hot water makes a big difference....scared myself when i first used cause the held so well..i could,not get them out..I release them from the back..bingo .works. Well..I soak overnight in peroxid..as I am a smoker..works well..n brush with baking soda...When placing strips into denture..lay gently to line up..a light touch all around..then let them settle while you do something else..works like a charm...these strips work better than anything i,ve tried..other thoughts..... I wonder how many denture users ,hurt all over n think it,s old age??? It might be the zinc in u r adhesive !! Using these for my upper dentures..tried the rest. These r the best.....amen !! N thank you for reviews..they taught me to apply ambesol n clove oil..while my gums healed..as a pain killer...another amen. Have learned to place the strip gently with my little finger...into uppers..then let them rest for a few minutes,while doing other ..then use manicuring sissors to trim...come back cut the tails off ..pop em in n good to go.!!😇. Very dry mouth..then let a cough drop disovle in mouth..by then I can pop my gum into my mouth..then ready for the day..been new at this since buying these in June of 2021..it,s now Nov 2021..my reaction to my first adhesives with zinc in them..had me in horrible pain all over my body..starting in my shoulders n arms..down to my toes..Awful..could barely function..even though i had stopped taking my supplimental zinc...the zinc in those other products..can be a killer..so am very grateful I found these..please do not run out.or eliminate this product..it is a lifesaver🍀🍀

They work very well. They are used on bottom dentures. They help hold with denture paste.

These are a little difficult to fit but with a small pair of sharp scissors - no problem. That is the closest thing to a negative I can say... Actually I love these strips. They hold beyond comparison and so easy to clean after taking your dentures out
