Q: Will this work for a left handed guitarist?

Not as good for left handers as for right handers. The cushion has a slope to it. It is designed to be used on the left leg of a tight handed player. the cushion has a slope that tilts the guitar back toward the player. If the cushion were turned around and used on the right leg, the cushion would tilt the guitar away from the player. I much prefer the ErgoPlay Tappert. It stays in place better and can be configured for a left handed player.

Q: Does it works with electric guitar???

I would assume that it would. But it’s very wide for an electric guitar. I use it for classical guitar. It works fine with it.
