My first sandbag for fitness was an oblong and it always leaked through the internal cloth bladders, and they are just super awkward to do some of my prescribed workouts. This sand bag holds exactly 100# (I used pea gravel) and it takes abuse. Zipper cover works great and the side handles are well sewn - no issues at all.

I have a 150lb and a 100lb bag. I do a ton of slams, carries and static holds with the 150lb and the 100lb bag is a good alternative for a 100lb kettle bell. Getting the first bag of sand into the bags is the only thing i dont like about these bags

Got this to train for the Spartan race sandbag carry. Filled the 50lbs one up and was pleasantly surprised with how well it seals, how nice the material is, and how functional the handles are. Overall happy with my purchase

Firstly; this thing DOES NOT HAVE a inner liner or " built-in filler bag" from the description. What it does have is a false liner bag sewn "flap" into the top zipper so that at a glance, it seems like there's an inner bag. There's just one compartment to this thing.Secondly; the quality is not good; this thing split at the seem after less than a month of use. This thing split at the seams after only approximately 12-14 workouts.Was throwing it over my shoulder; and split at the seems on 6th toss. I wish I was strong enough to heaving it 30 yards; but falling from my shoulder height to ground is what this is designed for.....Would not recommend.

Seems well made especially for the price (around $50 at the time of purchase). Fit exactly 100 pounds of course sand with not much more room to spare. There is an interior closure in addition to the outer zipper which seems like it should stay put since there’s not much wiggle room inside the bag. I’ve dropped the bag from 4-5 feet and it appears to be holding up so far, not sure what long time use will do to it. Handles are a useful addition. With the bag full it also makes a nice (short) sturdy seat for various exercises.

I have a 300 from a different brand and a 250 from ludus imperium but the handles on this 100 are a nice touch. I recently had a torn bicep tendon and don't have the squeezing force I once did. And try suitcase carries or 1 arm rows. But if they make a 150 with handles I'll buy in future. I filled it up to 105 but couldn't zip it up until it was down to 98

I really like this sandbag! The material feels really sturdy, the handles on it make it easy to move around and it can take a beating. I use this sandbag for over the shoulder throws, sand bag over bar loads and as a substitute for an atlas stone. Definitely better than the duffel bag sandbags. Those are good for light workouts but if you do more strongman type of workouts this will be for you!

Hello everyone!I was very pleased with the bag. I used it to have strongman sandbag from rogue, but this time I decided to go with ludus imperium. The idea is the same, but these two handles give you an opportunity to do more exercises. The quality is exactly the same. Both bags are made from heavy duty material that keeps sand inside. Will continue to buy from ludus imperium.
