AMASS Riverine Distilled Non-Alcoholic Spirit, 750ml

This is the second AMASS product that I've tried and I must say all the packages arrive well packaged and the bottles are beautiful. It's a highly giftable item because it looks so beautiful.Aroma. This non-alcoholic spirit is very aromatic and herbally. If you are setting the mood, it's great next to a candle and the scent will linger in the area.Flavor. I tried it alone and as a mixer; I personally like it better as a mixer because the herbaceous aroma is a little strong for me to drink alone. Just to tone it down, I would use vodka/gin since there isn't a lot of flavor in those. I like my drinks sweet and sour, so I made it into a full cocktail with simple syrup and lime.

I'm not sure what we're going for here - this product just barely has any taste, and its like just a hint of flavor - like a cucumber slice in a glass of water. No reason for a mixer, just pour in a glass of ice and search for taste.Anyone who says this product is a good gin substitute has either A. not had gin in a very long time or B. is a stockholder in this company and desperately trying to improve it ratings.Packaging was very fancy and it was in a painted glass bottle. Product inside doesn't hold up. Don't waste your money here.

I've recently been getting into non-alcoholic spirits, and I picked this one out to try. I was thinking it might be like gin, or something of that nature, but that wasn't the case. Instead, it had a strong, tho kind of generic, botanical flavour. It didn't work straight up or on the rocks, but I did find it worked okay mixed with Spicy V8, which sort of masked the flavour. I've had much better luck with the Ritual line of n/a spirits, and Monday n/a Gin is very nice!

I bought it because I was intrigued but immediately upon tasting it, wasn’t sure what I was paying $35 for. The flavor profile is clean and mixes well, but it feels like another mixture- there’s nothing that makes this stand out. In fact, it fades to the back a little too much for me. I expect the flavor to be extremely refined or delicious & very prominent in order to justify purchasing this non-juice juice.I’m sorry, I’m sure a lot of work went into it but I don’t think it’s effective. I want to feel like I’m having a treat and it didn’t feel special.

Really love the taste of this spirit, great for adding that little extra something to both non-alc and alcoholic cocktails. Wish the flavor was a little stronger because the taste is great! Also love that it comes in a bottle that can be repurposed!

I didn't know what to expect going into this purchase, but I was a big fan of AMASS gin and vodka and wanted to have a "spirit" on hand in order to serve more refined mocktails for guests who don't drink alcohol. I'm really glad I took a chance on this one! It is definitely a complex beverage on the nose and palate; very herbal (almost medicinal) yet goes down easy (I mean, it is 0% ABV). Works great in a wide range of mocktails so far, usually as a gin substitute. It definitely has a cozy place in my bar alongside the other AMASS spirits!

I bought this because I had previously tried & liked a different brand of distillate, Seedlip. But this one, Amass Riverine, has a really disgusting flavor. I couldn’t make it through a single glass of Riverine + tonic. It tasted like old, gross sweetcorn with the tiniest hints of juniper. Don’t waste your money on this bile, buy Seedlip (or one of the zero-proof gins like Ritual) instead.

My first non-alcoholic spirit experience. I hear that this is an alternative to drinking alcohol in social settings and allows you to sip a drink leisurely, while retaining the 0 calorie, 0 guilt benefits of water ;) I think it’s definitely an acquired taste, but so was alcohol for me. I drank it with 1/2 sparkling water over ice and enjoyed it with some classical music and a good book. A recommendation to the maker would be to add an instructional on how/ ways to drink it since it can be pretty potent on its own.
