Some beautiful songs, well worth having in my library!

I rate this book only one star because the last 12 pages of the book were physically bound upside down and out of sequence. When I asked the publisher to replace the physically defective book I was told that they, Alfred Publishing of Van Nuys California, were "only the manufacturer of the book so they had "no relationship" with "retail buyers" and refused to replace the physically defective book that they admitted they manufactured. The excellent Amazon's buyer protection service got me a full refund. But the whole experience was infuriating and because Amazon did not list the song titles in their product description so I didn't even get the song I wanted. I have told Amazon that their product description needs a list of the 40 songs in the book. The Bergmans have written 65 stand-alone songs, 5 songs for shows, 20 songs for television and 93 songs for movies for an amazing total of at least 183 songs ! This book has 40 of them. Perhaps Amazon will list the 40 in the book on the product description web page so buyers can tell if the song they want is in the book. However, the paper and printing of the book are excellent with 3 staves and guitar chords and complete lyrics on 179 pages. The front and back covers are sturdy and beautiful.

The upside: Outstanding song selection, including some lesser-known gems, with terrific arrangements. The downside: Production quality is extremely poor. The printing is blurry and the binding fell apart after just a few uses. I ended up removing all the pages and placing them in a binder. Production values aside, the book would be a good addition to your library, particularly if enjoy movie and show tunes.
