I recently bought the Loft Stilts Legs 64 Pack, and I must say, they are just incredible. I purchased some loft boards from B&Q and used these legs to create a storage platform in my loft. They work exactly as advertised and have exceeded my expectations in every way. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. The stilts fit the wooden beams in my loft perfectly, and the large plate design is so sturdy that I didn't even need to screw them in. I have been fitting a loft floor single handedly in my spare time, and these loft stilts have been a total highlight of the project. I wasn’t really sure which to buy from the many on Amazon, but these looks sturdy and easy to use, and I was not let down. Also, I have never seen such fast shipping for such a big delivery, and having ordered these a few times over now (as I’m buying the materials as I go, rather than all at once) they have been super speedy every time. You will receive two big cardboard boxes which I found are the perfect size to fit through my tiny loft hatch, and the stilts themselves are the exact mix of sturdy and flexible that you need to make a really great, balanced and flat floor in your loft. They also have the right amount of space to add the 270mm (or 300mm in my case) of insulation needed to stay within 2024 building regulations for insulation. I am new to DIY, and I found these so easy to use. They are no more difficult than hanging a picture frame to install. One top tip I discovered early on is to drill four pilot holes in the base before attaching it to the beam, as this will make the job easier on you. Also, because you get two boxes, if you want to prep them a bit at a time with pilot holes, you can use one box for the ones with pilot holes, and the other box for those still needing to be prepped. When installing, you might find the first few feel a bit bendy, but this is because they work in tandem with the floor, so once you have a few planks installed, you will see just how great they are. Once they are installed, you can put around 25kg on each loft plank (you will need around 6 stilts per plank). If you need loft stilts to arrive at your door super fast, and to be easy to use, and super sturdy - these are the stilts for you. Five stars out of five.

Initially, I was going to make ladder type frames from 3x2 timber as I thought it will be cheaper. After calculating things it came out about the same price, however timber was 85 kg heavier than these stilt legs and delivery was quicker so this was a no brainer. Stilt legs are sturdy enough and very easy to install. I had a problem with delivery and only received half of my order, however upon contacting the seller I got my issue resolved next working day. Shout out to Alfie who was very quick to respond, polite and helpful.

Come in boxes of 32 so two boxes per order if you get the 64 pack. Base for the baords is bigger than i thought and they will be just great. My only gripe that other have picked up is the wish for pre drilled holes. Not a drama, just the inconvenience of doing something that could be putt on the moulding machine to solve the problem at source. Other than that, great value for money and effective at making light work in the loft and a doddle to install (less the screw holes).

Product does what is says on the tin (box) but that is secondary to the customer service I received from Alfie after only half the shipment arrived. Super fast communication on the webchat and even called me to check on the missing half. Thank you so much, all arrived now.
