Needs to be redesigned
Just got the cushion in the mail today, so this is a preliminary review. In fact, I purchased two cushions, one for me, and one for a friend. First of all, I am five feet four inches tall, and weigh 162 pounds. The cushion, for even a smaller person like myself, is way too small (16x14.5x2). The width (16 inches) is barely wide enough, but the length is at least four inches too short, even for my short legs. With my spine back against the back edge of the cushion, the front edge ends about four inches from my knee joint. This abrupt end part way down the leg causes pressure points on the back of the legs - very uncomfortable. Also, the two inch thickness is just not enough, I could feel the hard chair surface beneath the cushion. When I stacked both foam cushions together, it felt much better. So a four inch cushion would work better for me - can't imagine a 200 pounder sitting on the two inch cushion. So here's how I personally would redesign this product: change the 16x14.5 shape to about 18x19. The 19 inch length should be wedge shaped with the back half being about four inches thick tapering gently down to a very thin front edge. This will be a better fit and will eliminate the pressure points created by the thick front edge. Taller people will need an even longer cushion. A built in strap or handle would be nice so the cushion could easily carried. Will use this product for a while and report my findings.

Astar Contoured Memory Foam Seat Cushion vs Kensington 82024
My wife & I VERY MUCH ENJOY the Astar HM138 contoured memory foam seat cushion. As with most memory foam products, there is an objectionable odor ("off gassing"), which the Kensington 82024 cushion also has. It should clear up, as did my Tempur-pedic pillow. The Astar's removable, washable, black, zippered cloth cover is a soft, comfortable material (75poly25cotton). I found that replacements are available, if needed, for $10. Though the (poor quality) photo of the Astar shows some blue color, the current unit is all black. The Kensington has what appears to be a more durable, though apparently non-removable, covering (80poly20cotton). Both cushions are nearly the same size, but the Kensington is flat & 1" thinner: My Astar HM138 cushion measures 16"x16"x2.5" & the Kensington 82024 measures 16.5"x16"x2". The listings show the Astar as 16x15x2 and 16x14.5x2, which differ from mine. The 82024 listings show 14.5x13.5x2 -- much smaller than what I actually measured. I hope the current listing title is corrected: "Kens Memory Foam Seat Cushion Black" (...sold by Astar). When I bought it the title was mistakenly shown as "Kensington Memory Foam...", which has been partially fixed. The Astar cushion is definitely not a Kensington 82024, but it turned out to be a lucky accident for us since WE FIND THE ASTAR HM138 TO BE MUCH MORE COMFY than the Kensington 82024. After receiving the 1st Astar cushion I ordered a Kensington 82024 cushion that I found at about the same price as the 1st Astar. I received the Kensington cushion and found that it is flat, thinner, harder and generally much less comfortable, for our sensibilities, than the Astar product, though it appears to be well made. I am not using the Astar on a typical task chair, so perhaps the lower-profile 82024 might be better for some task chair users, depending on physique and placement. We're using them on hard kitchen stools and on a computer chair where it fits perfectly.CAVEAT FOR BOTH: If your legs are short and your task chair's seat height is at the limit of comfort for you, then even the thinner, flat, non-contoured Kensington cushion may cause unwanted pressure mid-thigh, so think & measure carefully before ordering ANY seat cushion. If your hips are wide, both of these products may be a bit narrow for you.FINALLY, Astar notes a 3-year warranty, whereas Kensington comes with a 1-year warranty. (Since I have no experience with either warranty, I can't comment further). I'm giving it 4 rather than 5 stars due to a "wait-and-see" approach I have with anything new. If all goes well after extended use, I may revisit and add a star. Astar needs to add more metatags to their listing (and better photos) ... I can't find it unless I enter the exact title. For your convenience, here is a link to the current, direct Astar product listing: Kens Memory Foam Seat Cushion Black

Not a solution for filling in a too deep bucket seat.
I received this as a gift to help relieve pressure on my legs from the bucket seat in my car being too deep. This cushion is not tapered to the front although the picture looks like it is tapered; therefore not relieving pressure where I needed. I also have to agree with the other reviewers that this cushion is too small. I am not a very large person at all and I found that I hung over on all sides of the cushion.
