I bought this to use the MagSafe part on a different attachment in my mini. The “ball” bit is a universal size so I swapped the phone magnet I had for this MagSafe one. Works a treat. Thought I’d post this hack for anyone else who has a new iPhone 12 and an existing setup.

This works perfectly! I must admit I had my doubts but it’s done some pretty bumpy journeys in my mini and no problems at all it’s also really discreet when it hasn’t got the phone attached so doesn’t look out of place at all. Build quality is really high so looks like it will last. I’m using it with an iPhone 12pro and Apple mag case.

If the rubber covering the magnets was thinner for the magnets to be stronger was perfect, i was driving over the speed bumps and my phone haven’t fall, so it’s oke.Good product.
