Installed on covered patio and thrilled with the turnout. About 1 minute to raise or lower. Uses a nylon strap attached to the motor to raise and lower the TV. Not noisy by any means but, when it's quiet, you can hear it. Very stable mount as well. Mounted in single stud for my application and a 43inch tv. Only gripe is with figuring out the specific way to setup the mount on the TV for this specific TV. I needed to use only 2 of the vesa arms and a combination of the included spacers to make it work but, wasn't hard to get together.Only a couple days old currently but, will update later for longevity.Edit: 2nd winter started and it's still going strong. I've covered it from about November to April and it hasn't had any issues. Will update again in the future.
